PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Pea Ridge police served three warrants this week:

◊3/8 Tyler Yeakley, 23, Elkins, outstanding warrants from Huntsville;

◊3/8 Steven Chadwell, 32, Pea Ridge, outstanding warrants from Siloam Springs; and

◊3/12 Roy Corshia, 29, Pea Ridge, was at a residence on St. Clair Street and was arrested on outstanding warrants from Benton and Carroll counties.

Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include: Monday, March 7

5:30 p.m. A fire alarm at an empty business - the former Blackhawk Theater - on N. Curtis Avenue. Finding a broken window, police checked the building for persons and did not find any people inside or any sign of fire.

Tuesday, March 8

11:30 a.m. In responding to a complaint about animals, cited a resident on Patton Street, Elizabeth Shelton, 64, for having too many dogs on her property. She had 10 dogs and the city ordinance allows a maximum of four.

Wednesday, March 9

5:51 a.m. A resident on Richards Street reported seeing a prowler. Police found April Branson, 31, Pea Ridge, who, during an earlier complaint, had been given a no trespass warning, onthe premises. She was charged with trespassing.

Thursday, March 10

3:15 p.m. A resident of Charles Street reported someone had hit his mailbox.

Juan Salinas, 31, of Pea Ridge, had hit a mailbox at the residence of Richard Zink. Information was taken for an insurance report.

4:25 p.m. As a result of a prior investi gation, Leanne Goellnitz, 27, Pea Ridge for a warrant out of Bentonville.

9:37 p.m. Received a complaint of an assault at McDonald’s restaurant on N.

Curtis Avenue. During the investigation learned that an employee, Kyle Milner, 19, Pea Ridge, had accused Shalaku Grantham, 34, Pea Ridge, of stealing his marijuana out of his vehicle. Milner and Grantham were charged with disorderly conduct.

Friday, March 11

12:30 p.m. Were dispatched to Pea Ridge Middle School for a juvenile with a behavioral issue. Spoke to the principal and found a 13-year-old female with marijuana in her possession. The youth was charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to Benton County Juvenile Detention Center; her parents were notified.

9:30 p.m. A resident of Mary Phelps Drive reported a stray black dog. Policetook the dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

5:20 p.m. Someone reported seeing several juvenile boys entering the empty building which previously housed the Blackhawk Theater. Upon arrival, police discovered the fire alarm sounding and found several fire extinguishers had been discharged and other vandalism including broken lights and paint on walls. The investigation led to charging four 12-year-old boys with felony burglary and criminal mischief.

Saturday, March 12

4 p.m. Responded to the area of McNair Street where a fence to a residence on Ford Street was on fire.The investigation led to questioning two 11-year-old girls who admitted to having involvement in the origin of the fire.

The girls and their parents were interviewed and no charges were filed.

Sunday, March 13

10:15 p.m. A stray dog was reported by a resident on St. Clair Street. Police picked up a black and white Shih Tzu and took it to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Monday, March 14

11:45 p.m. A traffic stop on Hazelton Street resulted in the arrest of Rebecca Schnitzer, 49, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:38 p.m. Elizaabeth Anne Simon, 31, Garfield, was arrested by BCSO for failure to appear.

3:52 p.m. Steven Arlos Chadwell, 32, Pea Ridge, was arrested by BCSO for failure to appear, violation of the Arkansas hot check law and driving while license was cancelled, suspended or revoked.

9:53 p.m. Swen Arno Willis, 29, Seligman, Mo., was arrested by Rogers PoliceDepartment for contempt, escape, flee ing and shoplifting. No bond was set.

10:02 p.m. David Keith Henson, 39, Garfield, was arrested by Rogers Police Department for contempt, driving while intoxicated and driving while license was suspended or revoked.

Wednesday, March 9

4:43 p.m. Chad Allen Robinson, 31, Garfield, was arrested by BCSO for military desertion.

7:28 p.m. Cody Robert-Lewis Moore, 19, Garfield, was arrested by BCSO for contempt.

Saturday, March 12

6:55 p.m. Roy Leon Corshia, 29, Pea

Ridge, was arrested by BCSO for two

counts of contempt.

Sunday, March 13

9:50 p.m. Diane Patricia Wrenfrow-

Gary, 56, Garfield, was arrested by Ben

tonville Police department for public

intoxication.

Monday, March 14

12:32 p.m. Michael Payne Huston,

32, Garfield, was arrested by BCSO for

his 3rd and 4th offense of driving while

intoxicated and no driver’s license.
