Farm Bureau

The Benton County Farm Bureau will again offer a $500 scholarship for members, children or grandchildren of Farm Bureau members in the county who are graduating this spring. One recipient will be selected from all applicants countywide. Other eligibility and terms of the scholarship are available. Deadline is April 15, 2011.

Dye Hards Gym

Dye Hards Gym & Principal Fitness Scholarship may be used at any college or university. Persons interested must return a completed scholarship form to Pea Ridge High School counselor Randi Jo Kelso by April 1.

Two scholarships - $500 each - will be awarded to a Pea Ridge senior. Applicants will be anonymously judged by a team of people from the community.

Garfield Elementary

GARFIELD - Garfield Elementary P.T.O. is offering a Community Based Scholarship in the amount of $500 to a qualifying student. Students must meet the following criteria in order to apply:

◊Three years of attendance at Garfield Elementary

◊Attending an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school

Applications may be picked up at the PRHS, Heritage High School or Rogers High School counselor’s office, or at Garfield Elementary School office. Scholarships must be received by April 15 to be considered.

Return the application to Garfield P.T.O. Scholarship Committee, Garfield Elementary School, P.O. Box 69, Garfield, AR 72732. All scholarship applications will be reviewed by the Garfield P.T.O. Scholarship Committee. All applicants will be notified of their outcome.

The scholarship will be presented to the selected student at the May Awards Assembly at the Garfield Elementary School.

Scholarship money will be awarded to the student upon proof of registration at an accredited school.
