Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Two warrants served:

◊2/23 William Ratliff, 21, Avoca, for failure to appear;

◊2/24 Zachary Cook, 28, Fayetteville, failure to appear; and

◊2/28 Kong Kue, 24, Gentry, failure to pay fines and costs.

Other incidents include: Tuesday, Feb. 22

4 p.m. Sarah Durling, 25, Springdale, was taken into custody while at court on a commitment from the judge.

1 p.m. Met a resident at the Police station who advised she had met a man on the Internet, become friends on Facebook, exchanged e-mails and discovered he may be fraudulently representing himself. She was concerned that he had much of her private information and afraid. She wanted police to be aware of the situation.

Wednesday, Feb. 23

9:10 a.m. Contacted by a representative of State Farm Insurance concerning a vehicle that had been towed. It was determined it was a civil matter.

10:33 a.m. Alarm call at McDonalds for an alarm on the freezer; contacted management, situation was secured.

1:30 p.m. Contacted by a resident reported that her husband’s ex-wife was reportedly threatening suicide.While checking the woman’s welfare, it was determined she had warrants out for her arrest from Highfill. Kim Handy, 39, of Pea Ridge, was arrested and turned over to Highfill.

2:12 p.m. Requested by Benton County Sheriff’s Office to check on a reported 14-year-old female runaway who was located at the City Park. She was turned over to BCSO.

7:05 p.m. Criminal mischief reported by a resident on Park Circle concerning two juvenile girls who broke a window on the residence and took off running.

Police located and talked to the girls - ages 13 and 14. The 14-year-old girl was given a no-trespass warning and a juvenile citation for criminal mischief.

She was released to her parent.

8:39 p.m. Requested by Fayetteville Police to look for a vehicle at a residence on St. Clair Street which was believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident. The vehicle was not located.

8:46 p.m. A possible prowler was reported at Autumn Place Retirement Village.The area was checked and secure. No prowler was located.

9:21 p.m. Suspicious circumstances were reported in the cul-de-sac at the end of Harrison Street. Investigation revealed it to be two males skateboarding and that no crime was being committed.

10:04 p.m. An alarm at the old gym on East Pike Street. The area was checked and secure.

Thursday, Feb. 24

12:15 a.m. Assisted Little Flock Police with searching for a subject believed to be at a residence on N. Davis Street. No contact was made.

Friday, Feb. 25

1:18 a.m. Alarm call at Fred’s; a representative was contacted; the building was determined to be secure.

2 p.m. Three men were arrested as a result of an investigation that began with a confrontation that took place Feb. 12 at Marvins. An anonymous caller reported seeing two men slashing the tires on a vehicle in the parking lot.When police investigated, they spoke to the owner of the car who was inside shopping and who reported that two men had confronted and threatened him inside the store.Warrants were issued by the Prosecuting Attorney’s office and Roger Canard, 19, Avoca, was arrested for hindering apprehension and criminal mischief in the first degree; Michael Canard, 21, Avoca, for terroristic threatening and criminal mischief; and Gary Canard, 42, Avoca, for hindering apprehension.

4 p.m. Harassment reported by a school official concerning a disgruntled parent at the superintendent’s office.

The incident is under investigation.

8:10 p.m. Met at the Police station by a resident who advised that he found pornography on an iPod belonging to his 15-year-old son. The investigation revealed that there were also pornographic (nude) photographs of a 15-year-old girl who attends Pea Ridge schools. After questioning all parties involved, police referred the matter to Benton County Juvenile Probation.

Saturday, Feb. 26

4:30 p.m. Alarm call at Pea Ridge Intermediate School; investigation discovered a school employee was found doing paperwork. The employee reported that she knew the alarm was activated, but couldn’t not get it to reset.

8:15 p.m. A disturbance between a male and a female at a residence on Mary Phelps Drive was reported.

Both parties were interviewed and the woman agreed to leave the premises.

Sunday, Feb. 27

3:45 a.m. Were notified by NEBCO Fire/EMS that a 17-year-old female being treated by their medical personnel reported she had been assaulted by her 20-year-old boyfriend in Pea Ridge. As a result of the investigation, Freddy Medina, 20, of Pea Ridge, was arrested for domestic battering in the third degree.

1:45 p.m. A theft was reported by a resident who met police at the station to report she had been shopping and either left her debit card on the counter at a store or it fell out of her purse. Once she realized it, she told police she checked and discovered unauthorized charges. She reported she closed the account. The incident is under investigation.

2:25 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on N. Arkansas Highway 94 and N. Harvey Wakefield involving Ashton Bishop, 17, Pea Ridge, and Arthur Fox, 62, of Lincoln. It was reported that both vehicles were northbound when Bishop attempted to pass the vehicle driven by Fox and Fox turned left. There were no injuries.

5:30 p.m. Contacted by a resident on McNair Place that a purple Mongoose bicycle was stolen from the front yard of his residence.

Monday, Feb. 28

5:19 p.m. A theft was reported by a resident on Park Circle who said his son’s bicycle had been stolen.

6:05 p.m. Police were dispatched to a stray dog on Washburn Drive.They located a chocolate lab that was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

8:14 p.m. Police were dispatched to a disturbance in progress at a residence on N. Curtis Avenue; the parties involved were intoxicated and separated for the night.

Persons from northeast Benton County booked into the Benton County Jail this week include: Monday, Feb. 21

10:40 p.m. Ricky Lee French, 57, of Miami, Okla., arrested by Pea Ridge Police for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance and refusal to submit to an intoxication test.

Tuesday, Feb. 22

11:39 a.m. Felicia Roxie Haney, 24, of Garfield, arrested by BCSO for failure to appear and manufacturing a controlled substance schedule I and II. She was in jail Tuesday in lieu of a $55,000 bond.

5:05 p.m. Sarah Mae Durling, 25, of Springdale, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of a controlled substance or counterfeit substance. She was booked by Pea Ridge Police and was in jail Tuesday with no bond set.

Wednesday, Feb. 23

2:38 p.m. Kim Ann Handy, 39, of Pea Ridge, was arrested by Highfill Police Department for failure to appear.

Thursday, Feb. 24

4:02 a.m. Joseph Dudley Boggs, 42, of Pea Ridge, was arrested by BCSO for driving while intoxicated.

4:09 a.m. Michael Anthony Price, 29, of Pea Ridge, was arrested by BCSO for driving while intoxicated, no seatbelt and refusal to submit to an intoxication test.

5:15 p.m. Bobby Joe Hamilton, 31, Garfield, was arrested by BCSO for driving while intoxicated. He was in jail Tuesday with no bond set.

Friday, Feb. 25

11:09 p.m. Tyler Shawn Snoderly, 28, Garfield was arrested by BCSO for failure to appear. He was in jail Tuesday in lieu of $30,000 bond.

Saturday, Feb. 26

9:39 p.m. Bryan Gene Deshields, 38. Pea Ridge, was arrested by BCSO for driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to arrest and refusal to submit to an intoxication test.

Sunday, Feb. 27

6:12 a.m. Freddy Medina, 20, Pea Ridge, was arrested by Pea Ridge Police for domestic battering in the third degree.
