Diamond Dodgers finish second

— The Diamond Dodgers, an 8U softball team, ended their season after the last practice of the regular season with a fun water fight thanks to coach Damon Laycox.

Laycox said he was proud of the girls and coaches for the fantastic season, we ended the practice with a fun water fight.

Diamond Dodgers finished their regular season with a record of 13-1, putting the in second place in the league standings, out of a total of 13 teams. They tied with the number one team for least number of runs allowed against us during the season. In addition to outstanding defense, the girls also excelled in offense, with a powerful lineup all the way through the batting order.

Now that the regular season has been completed, the end-of-season tournament will takeplace over the last two weeks of June.
