PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Two warrants served:

◊6/9 Clifford Patterson, 32, Cassville, Mo., failure to appear; and

◊6/9 Bobbie Reed, 25, Springdale, contempt failure to pay fines and costs.

Other incidents include: Tuesday, June 7

6 a.m. Received a complaint about a loose dog which was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

The dog was a multi-colored Pit Bull.

noon Requested by deputies from Billings, Mont., to locate a woman who possibly lives in the area. Several unsuccessful attempts were made, but police possibly found the person’s mother and passed on the information.

12:10 p.m. A resident on Humphrey Street reported vandalism consisting of an egg thrown onto their vehicle and spray painted letters and an obscene drawing on their driveway.

5 p.m. A criminal mischief was reported by a resident on Mitchell Lane who said a mailbox had been smashed.

9 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on Charles Street. A vehicle matching the description was located and stopped.The driver, Austin Bole, 16, Pea Ridge, was cited for fictitious vehicle license and no insurance.

Wednesday, June 8

4:15 a.m. While on routine patrol in the Givens Subdivision, police saw a male on the side of the road and upon stopping to investigate, discovered four teen-aged youths - two boys and two girls.The elder boy was 18. The younger, 16, was cited for curfew violation. The girls were in their own yard and were not cited.

6:07 p.m. A physical disturbance was reported by a resident on Lindsay Street. No charges were filed.

7:27 p.m. A suspicious circumstance was reported at a business on S. CurtisAve.The incident is under investigation.

Thursday, June 9

4:15 p.m. A minor two-vehicle accident on Asboth involving Erica Hammond, 31, Pea Ridge, and Elfidio Hernandez, 42, Bentonville.

5:45 p.m. Keys were turned in to the police station and reported found on the sidewalk on Weston Street near the ball fields.

9:43 p.m. A physical disturbance at Kings Lane apartments was reported.

Donald Spencer, 63, Pea Ridge, was arrested for domestic battery and taken to the Benton County Jail.

Friday, June 10

10 a.m. Brandon Hubbard, 30, Pea Ridge, reported to the police station saying he believed there was a warrant out for his arrest. A warrant from Benton County was confirmed. A deputy picked him up.

9 p.m. Received a report of a possible accident on Bowen Street. Upon investigation, found a 55-year-old male in a mobility scooter who was unresponsive. After he was awakened, he was checked out by ambulance personnel and escorted to his residence on Van Dorn.

Saturday, June 11

1:30 a.m. While on routine patrol in Givens Subdivision, saw several young persons outside a residence on John Montgomery Circle and one youth near a pickup truck throwing up. When police approached, the young man near the truck fled on foot. The other youths were questioned, but said they didn’t see anyone. The adult inside the house was awakened and other parents of the youths were notified. A 17-year-old male was cited for city curfew violation and given a juvenile court appearance bond for obstructing governmental operations. Three girls, one 14- and two 16-year-olds, were given juvenile court appearance bonds for obstructiongovernmental operations.

7 p.m. Received a complaint of a loose dog on Watie Street. The dog, which did not have city tags, was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. The owner received a citation for dog at large and no dog tags.

Sunday, June 12

2:50 a.m. While on routine patrol on N. Arkansas Highway 94, noticed two young girls walking in the area of N. Harvey Wakefield.The girls, sisters ages 9 and 14, were taken home and the parents talked to. The elder girl was cited for curfew violation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and thirddegree endangerment.

12:30 p.m. Received a report of a stray dog on Hayden Road.The dog, which had city tags, was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. Police were unable to contact the owner.

8:30 p.m. As the result of a traffic stop on N. Arkansas Highway 94, cited Billy Robinson, 30, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance.

Monday, June 13

8:03 p.m. Received a report from CENCOM of a reckless driver eastbound entering the city on Arkansas Hwy. 72.

Officers observed the suspect vehicle nearly hit an oncoming vehicle head-on and stopped the vehicle.The driver, Joseph Black, 23, of Washburn, Mo., was arrested for reckless driving and texting while driving. He was taken to Benton County Jail.

8:24 p.m. An alarm call at Pea Ridge High School; police found a school board member leaving the building, which had been locked following a School Board meeting. The building was secure.

Tuesday, June 14

4:43 a.m. An alarm call at Pea Ridge Intermediate School reporting lower utility door motion; a representative resonded.The building was secure.
