PEA RIDGE — The varsity cheerleaders have been
selected for 2011-2012. Members of the squad include The Pea Ridge Varsity Cheer squad has been elected for 2010-2011.
They are seniors: Morganne Rhine, Joey Beauchamp, Lacy King and Heather Patton; juniors: Brooke Johnson, Kasey Smith, Haley Roughton, Madison Rose, Baleigh Alsmond, Reaganne Rhine and Brittany Thomas; sophomores: Samantha Truesdell, Vanessa Hibbard, Kaylee Laster, Chattin Cato, Ty Connor, Kelli Green and Haley Edwards. The mascot this year is Heather Kremer. The cheerleaders will have their annual fireworks stand at the same location as they were last year.
The Pea Ridge Optimist Club, athletic Boosters and senior class of 2013 contributed to the purchase of the new ’Hawk costume, according to coach Jamie Bunting.
