Soccer Registration

Registration for Northwest Arkansas Lightning Soccer registration for Pea Ridge 2011/2012 will be 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Pea Ridge Park pavilion. This is for ages 3-17, the new season begins in August. To register online, go to www.nwalightning.

Cheerleading sign-ups and tryouts

Cheerleading sign-ups and tryouts will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the Intermediate School gym. Cost for second and thirdgrade is $55, and includes a practice and game uniform. Cost for fourth through sixth grade is $50, with a balance of $150 due at a later date. Wear a white T-shirt, black shorts, hair pulled up and tennis shoes.

A mandatory parent meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 5.

Lil’ ’Hawks summer basketball camp

The Lil’ ’Hawks basketball campwill be from 8 a.m. to noon June 13-17 in the Pea Ridge High School gym.

This camp is for boys and girls, third through sixth grades. Cost is $50, all proceeds go to the high school basketball program. Each child will receive a camp T-shirt and certificate.

Camp is limited to first 100 to sign up. Pay in advance to reserve a spot, or walk-ins will be accepted beginning at 7:15 a.m. Monday, June 13.

Camp will be directed by high school boys’ basketball coach Charley Clark, and taught by current Pea Ridge coaches and former players.
