Arkansas Tech University students achieve 4.0

RUSSELLVILLE - Arkansas Tech University announced its Dean’s List for undergraduate students on the main campus in Russellville for the spring 2011 semester.

Students with a 4.0 grade point average named to this list include: Elizabeth Marie Ash, Lindsey Elaine Falkenstein, Ashley Nicole Peters, Brandon Michael Thompson and Kathryn Diane Ward, all of Pea Ridge; and Andrew Marble of Garfield.

A student must achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher and complete at least 12 semester hours to be named to the Dean’s List.

Henderson State University announces Honor Roll

ARKADELPHIA - Henderson State University announced its Honor Roll for undergraduate students for the Spring 2011 semester.

Students must have at least a 3.5 grade point average to make Honor Roll, these students include: Cheryl Johnson, of Garfield, and Patricia Butler, of Pea Ridge.

John Brown University NWA Advance Program

SILOAM SPRINGS - The following local students have been named to John Brown University’s President’s List of distinguished students from the Advance Degree Completion Program, Michael Forrest and Michael Billington, both of Pea Ridge. Both students are working towards a bachelor’s degree in organizational management through John Brown University’s Northwest Arkansas Advance Program.

The Advance Program is a degree completion program that allows students to complete their bachelor’s degree by attending classes one night a week. Classes are designed for working adults 23 years of age or older, who have at least two years of prior college credit and relevant work experience. Students progress through their studies as a group, taking courses in an established sequence.

Bone graduates from College of the Ozarks

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - Haley Bone of Pea Ridge, graduated from College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, Mo., during the 2011 Commencement exercises May 8. Bonereceived a bachelor of science in physical education: Health/ Wellness.

A 2006 graduate of Pea Ridge High School, Bone is the daughter of Diana Bone and granddaughter of Joann Collins.

This year, 321 students graduated from College of the Ozarks.
