Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

One warrant served:

◊5/29 Gerald Scott, 21, Pea Ridge, contempt failure to pay fines and costs.

Other incidents include: Monday, May 23

8:30 p.m. Alarm call at former Blackhawk Theater; no representative; building secured.

6 a.m. A black Ford Explorer was reported abandoned in the roadway on Hickman Drive.The vehicle was checked. At 9:30 a.m. the vehicle was towed to remove from the roadway. At noon, police were notified of who the owner was.

Tuesday, May 24

4:48 p.m. A resident on Luke Street reported that two Nintendo games belonging to her daughter were missing.

4 p.m. Received a report of a dog biting a child on Greene Street, but upon investigation, discovered the child had not been bitten. The owner of the dog was cited for dog at large.

Wednesday, May 25

11:30 a.m. Alarm call at former Blackhawk Theater; no representative; building secured.

1 p.m. Advised by city employees that the women’s restroom at City Park was vandalized.

Thursday, May 26

9:50 a.m. A small dog was reported running loose on N. Davis Street. Police found a red and white Shih Tzu, picked it up and took it to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

7 p.m. A citizen approached an officer atWright’s Car Wash to turn over a dog they had found. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

8 p.m. A resident reported an iPod had been stolen from her son when it was placed in a box in the hallway at school after being confiscated by the teacher during testing.The incident is under investigation.

Friday, May 27

9:50 p.m. A resident that a cell phone belonging to her 14-year-old son was missing. It was last seen when the boy set it down by friends at the dance at Pea Ridge Middle School.

Saturday, May 28

9:05 p.m. A fire investigation at a residence on Frost Street. It was discovered that the resident was burning brush in the back yard. The scene was turned over to the fire chief, who advised the resident to get a burn permit from City Hall.

Sunday, May 29

3:50 a.m. Alarm call at Fred’s store;

a representative was contacted; building secured.

6:46 p.m. An employee at McDonalds reported a possibly intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located and stopped, resulting in the arrest of John Botson, 17, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication, and James Lopez, 19, Eagle Rock, Mo., for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

11:40 p.m. A noise complaint from a resident on McNair Circle. Four boys were found on Park Circle who agreed to be quiet.

Monday, May 30

1:20 a.m. Alarm call at Fred’s store;

a representative was contacted; building secured.

6:40 p.m. Alarm call at Pea Ridge Middle School; building secured.

Tuesday, May 31

4:07 a.m. Alarm call at Fred’s store;

a representative was contacted; building secured.

Persons from northeast Benton County booked into the Benton County Jail this week include: Tuesday, May 24

9:27 p.m. Dawn Marie Michalski, 39, of Garfield, was arrested by Rogers Police for contempt.

Wednesday, May 25

4:03 p.m. Rick Lee Lawson, 38, of Seligman, was arrested by Rogers Police for revoke of suspended sentence or probation and use of possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

5:58 p.m. Tracy Joann McCoy, 31, of Seligman, was arrested by Rogers Police for obstructing governmental operations and use of possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

8:50 p.m. Michael Joseph Letney, 25, of Pea Ridge, was arrested by BCSO for felony forgery in the second degree.

Thursday, May 26

10:01 a.m. Angela Marie Evans, 35, of Garfield, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for driving while intoxicated.

11:21 a.m. Darin Michael Etherton, 27, of Pea Ridge, was arrested by Rogers Police for theft by receiving.

11:28 a.m. Justin Stephen Ferris, 22, of Gateway, was arrested by BCSO for contempt.

Monday, May 30

4:31 p.m. Brandin Earl Butler, 25, of Garfield, was arrested by Rogers Police for comtempt. He was being held Monday at the Benton County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bond.
