The Pea Ridge Optimist Club met at 6 p.m. May 19 in the middle school cafeteria. Sandy Lasater, club president, conducted the meeting. Anya Bruhin, middle school art teacher gave a tour of the seventhgrade Rain Garden and discussed how well the students enjoy being outside for a class and working in the dirt. The students have already planted 343 plants with about 50 more to go.
