Paul Johnston Bailey

Paul Johnston Bailey, 85, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011.

He was born in Hanover, N.M., on June 5, 1926, to John Mack Bailey and Bertha Winona Vulliet Bailey.

He was one of five sons, Lloyd, Paul, Bill, Mack and Cecil.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the 5th Air Force headquartered in Japan and entered Hiroshima two weeks after the atomic bomb was dropped. He built B-29s before he was old enough to be drafted.

He was a taxidermist. He was a logger in Roseburg, Ore. He did carpentry work in California and he was a building contractor specializing in custom-built homes in Hot Springs. He loved hunting, fishing and talking.

He spent the last four and a half years of his life in Rogers, living at two different nursing home facilities.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Paul and Sharla Bailey of Bolivar, Mo.; his daughter, Denise Marie Baker of Rogers; three grandchildren, Aaron James Baker and his wife, Hannah Beard Baker, Adam Jarrod Baker and Adrianna Jordin Baker, all of Rogers; two brothers, Mack Bailey of Oregon; and Cecil Bailey of Surprise,Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Friday, July 22, 2011 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, in Glenwood, funeral services followed.

Interment was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hot Springs.

Deborah Kay Ingram

Deborah Kay Ingram, 51, of Garfield, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at her home.

She was born Oct. 26, 1959, at Berryville, Ark., to Cecil Eugene Robinson and Wanda Lee Luttrell.

She worked for Emerson Electric as a line worker and the Burger Bar in Seligman, Mo. She loved flea markets, cooking, planting flowers and was a caregiver to family and neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her mother Wanda.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Ingram of the home; a son, Joshua Collins of Alaska; a daughter, Jennifer Ann Brownof Conway, Mo.; a brother Rick Robinson of Pea Ridge; a sister, Sherry Robinson of Eureka Springs;

and five grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday, July 22, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Graveside service was Saturday, July 23, at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, with brother Anthony Lane officiating.

Dale Herbert Orndoff

Dale Herbert Orndoff, 74, of Lost Bridge Village, died July 18, 2011, at his home.

He was born in Wichita, Kan., on Nov. 9, 1936, to Herbert and Velma (Moran) Orndoff.

He was a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and was a member of Cross Church in Springdale, where he was active in the “Been There, Done That” Connection Group. He enjoyed being at the lake, cooking barbecue and being a grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon Orndoff; and two brothers, Max and Paul Orndoff.

Survivors include his wife, Johnese Orndoff of the home; children, KeithOrndoff of Houston, Texas, Kelvin Orndoff of Wichita, Kan., Theresa Mosier of Springdale and Lisa Talley of Abilene, Texas; one brother, Gary Orndoff of Parker, Colo.; three sisters, Dorothy McGaugh of Baton Rouge, La., JoAnn Edwards of Clarence, Mo., and Pat Lynch of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters-in-law, Therasa Gray of Springdale and Annette Baird of Blanchard, Okla.; and two grandchildren, Reece Orndoff and Franci Mosier.

Visitation was Friday, July 22, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 23, in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Foster officiating.

Interment followed in Ruddick Cemetery near Garfield.

Hugh Don Patterson

Hugh Don Patterson, 95,of Pea Ridge, died July 20, 2011, at his home. He was born March 6, 1916, to Hallie Jarmon “Dick” Patterson and Ida Grace Testerman Patterson in Pea Ridge.

He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. A large part of his life was spent in Tulsa, Okla., with Florine and Janice. He was employed in Tulsa by Douglas Aircraft.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florine Pate Patterson; a daughter, Janice June Patterson Strawn; his second wife, Juanita Snyder Patterson; three sisters, Faytema Lea Patterson, Eva Beatrice Patterson and Lena Mae Patterson Holz;

and one brother, Homer Hall Patterson.

Survivors include two grandsons, Matthew Strawn and Michael Strawn.

Services were Monday, July 25, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, Okla.

Arrangements were by Becker Funeral Home, Lawton.

Arthur ‘Rusty’ Wilber Jr.

Arthur “Rusty” Wilber Jr., 53, died July 20, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1958, in Long Beach, Calif., to Arthur and Catherine (Farris) Wilber Sr.

Rusty was the husband of Vickey (Dixon) Wilber of Rogers.

He was employed as a senior buyer for Walmart.

Rusty was the president of the board at Rogers Activity Center and a member of the Optimist Club in Rogers.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Cody and Casey Wilber, both of Rogers; one daughter, Cortney Bullock and husband, Richard, of Rogers; one granddaughter, Daylyn Bullock of Rogers; one brother, Michael Lasister and wife, Pauline, of Rogers; sisterin-law, Pam Bryant of Rogers; brother-in-law, Jim Bryant of Rogers; niece, Mary Roughton of Pea Ridge; and two nephews, Jeff and Scott Bryant, both of Rogers.

Visitation was Sunday, July 24, at the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

A graveside service was Monday, July 25, in the Benton County Memorial Park with Ben Rowell officiating.
