Cross Brand Cowboy

Kid’s Cowboy Camp is 6:30 p.m.- 8:35 p.m. July 20-22. Kids will learn rodeo skills such as goat tying and barrel racing. Throughout the camp, children will be reminded that God loves them and that a wise cowboy/cowgirl will follow Jesus. The last day of the camp the kids will entertain their parents with a kid’s rodeo. For safety reasons, children must wear close-toed shoes or boots in order to be around horses.

This camp is a ministry of Cross Brand Cowboy Church and there is no charge. Cross Brand Cowboy Church is located between Bentonville and Pea Ridge, 4 miles east of I-540 on Arkansas Hwy. 72. For information, go to www.crossbrand.org or call 426-2103.

Freedom Free Will Baptist Church

Shake It Up Cafe -

VBS for three churches

Mt. Vernon Presbyterian, Pea Ridge United Methodist and Brightwater Memorial United Methodist Church invite you to their ecumenical Vacation Bible School for Shake It Up Café.

Shake It Up Café will be 6-8:30 p.m. July 18-21. Each evening, a kid-friendly meal will be served at 6 p.m. The nightly assembly will be from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30p.m. at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church. Parents are encouraged to come every night and eat with their children. An adult class will be held in the sanctuary of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.

This kitchen adventure is interactive and will take the chefs-in-training to make art projects at Tangy & Tart Art, singing new music, exploring science activities at Foodology Factory and participating in recreational activities where all will learn God’s recipe for living. Join us for a fun time where there will be lots of surprises and drawings every night.

The 2011 Vacation Bible School will be from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 24, through Thursday, July 28, for children ages 4 years through 12-grade. Family night will be at 5 p.m.
