— PARADE

Everyone is welcome to participate in the annual fair parade which will begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Community First Bank. The parade will travel up North Curtis Avenue to downtown. Line-up is at 5 p.m., but judging will begin before that, according to Beta Alpha president Karen Kitterman. Participants wishing to be judged are asked to arrive early.

Grand marshals are brothers Keith Escue and John Escue.

The theme is Summer Fun through the Decades. There is a $25 prize for the winner of each of the following categories.

Carsten Concessions - Corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, SnoCones, lemonade, caramel apples, pretzels andnachos.

New Life Church - Burgers, brats, hot dogs and snow cones.

Darin Wright - BBQ chicken.

Ray Heron - BBQ brisket and ribs.

Sam Hall - Jambalaya.

Casual Concessions - Hot wings, French fries, fried cheese, popcorn, ice cream sundaes, fountain drinks, coffee and breakfast burritos.
