Jr. Miss pageant set for Thursday

— The Junior Miss Pea Ridge pageant will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and is for young ladies who will be either a sophomore or junior in high school.

The contestants will be interviewed at 6 p.m. by the judges. The Teeny Tot contest, for 3- and 4-year-olds will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Destani Bell, 15, a junior, is the daughter of John and Carolyn Bell of Garfield. She likes to sing, ride fourwheelers, hunt, swim and spend time with her friends and family.

Her plans are to attendcollege and further her education, if becoming a singer doesn’t become a reality. She is sponsored by John and Carolyn Bell.

Haylee Bowman, 16, a junior, is the daughter of Ron and Bev Bowman, is 5’2”.

She is a member of the National Honor Society. She enjoys singing with Socially Awkward, Autumn’s Place Reride Youth Ranch attending camp, horse barrel racing and pole bending. She plans to attend collegeand work for the Christian music industry or work with adoption agencies. She is sponsored by the Pea RidgeVet Clinic.

Chattin Cato, 15, sophomore, is the daughter of Jeff and Ann Cato, is 5’4”. She belongs to the Point Youth Ministry, varsity cheerleading, varsity volleyball and is class secretary. Her hobbies include cheerleading, volleyball, church youth group, going out on the lake and hanging with friends. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas and become an English teacher.

She is sponsored by Jeff and Ann Cato.

Heather Ray, 15, a sophomore, is the daughter of Jesse Ray and Karen Kitterman, both of Pea Ridge, is 5’3”. She is a member of Girl Scout Troop 5053, Future Business Leaders of America,school choir, Ozone for Camp War Eagle, RUSH youth group of Grace Harbor Church and Elan. Her hobbies are reading, singing, riding her fourwheeler, making dream-catchers andhanging out with friends. Miss Ray plans to attend the U of A in Fayetteville. She is sponsored by Bob Kitterman.

Sadie Robertson, 15, sophomore, is the daughter of Rodney Robertson and Dodi Greene, both of Pea Ridge, is 5’4”. She loves photography, theater, singing, dancing and playing the guitar. Sheplans to attend NWACC and take photography courses in hopes of becoming a photographer in the future. She is sponsored by Rodney Robertson andDodi Greene.

Samantha Truesdell, 14, sophomore, is the daughter of Kathy and Freddie Truesdell of Pea Ridge, is 5’2”.

She belongs to the First Baptist Church of Pea Ridge Youth Group and cheer. She enjoys talking, watching movies and shopping with her daddy. She plans to attend college to become a physician. She is sponsored by Steckler Brothers Truck Parts.

Felicia Ashton Walker, 16, a junior, is the daughter of Timothy and Jackuelin Walker of Pea Ridge, is 5’5”. She is a member of the track team and First Baptist Youth Group.

She enjoys horseback riding, hanging out with friends and family,boting, reading and loves shopping.

Her future plans are to earn a bachelor’s degree and work with children.

She is sponsored by the Walker family.
