The ring bearers were Gus Howell, cousin of the groom, and Sutton Reed, nephew of the bride.

The bride was given in marriage by her father Roger Goodwin.

The bride wore a floorlength white taffeta dress with a strapless sweetheart neckline. The sidedraped gown had beaded appliqués at the bodice and hip, and a sweep train hung from the laced back of the dress. The bride’s veil was multi-tiered illusion. The bride also wore a necklace that had been given to her mother by her father on their wedding day and carried a handkerchief that had belonged to her grandmother. The bride and matron-ofhonor carried bouquets of mini-calla lilies wrapped in lime green and turquoise satin ribbon.

A reception for family and friends followed the private ceremony in a field at the groom’s grandparents’ home. Vases of light green gladiolas and spidermums were centered on tulle and candle adorned tables that were under twinkle lighted tents.

The bride’s cake featured a harlequin and polka dot pattern in the bride’s colors of lime, turquoise and brown and was topped with the newlywed’s monogram. The groom’s cake was a Razorback. The guests dined on bar-b-que and all the trimmings and desserts of cake, cupcakes, and pie. After dinner the guests enjoyed an evening of dancing under the stars to the music of Kelly Road.

Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the newlyweds will be living in Rogers.
