Veda Sprinkles

Veda Sprinkles, 75, of Rogers, died June 28. She was born Apr. 29, 1936, in Kingston, Ark., to Tommy Gillum and Nellie and Ira Madewell.

She was a retired secretary with Walmart, volunteered with the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Thrift Store and was a volunteer first responder with the Garfield Fire Department.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. “Dick” Sprinkles;

a son, Richard Lloyd;

and sister-in-law, ArleneMadewell.

Survivors include Jacky Lloyd and wife, Yasemin, of Lompoc, Calif.; Stephen Lloyd of Rogers; Marilyn Hughes and husband, William H., of Harrison; and Lesa Henderson and husband, Stephen, of Pineville, Mo.;daughter-in-law, Lexie Lloyd of Farmington;

three brothers, Clifford Madewell and wife, Mary Ann, of Centerton; Lonnie W. Madewell and wife, Lura, of Fayetteville; and Don R. Madewell and wife, Linda, of Springdale; six grandchildren; and 13great-grandchildren.

Visitation was at 5-7 p.m.

Thursday, June 30, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with Rev. Jo Jones officiating.

Burial was at Ruddick Cemetary.
