Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police this week include: Monday, Jan. 17

5:45 a.m. Citing a 17-year-old male for curfew violation, after checking the welfare of a man walking due to the early hour and low temperatures. He was transported home and police spoke with the youth’s father.

10:10 p.m. Investigated a noise complaint of barking dogs at Patton and Bowen streets; no dogs were discovered barking.

11:50 p.m. Police were notified of a welfare concern for a child at a residence on Hayden Road. After checking with residents, police reported to the complainant that the child was OK.

Tuesday, Jan. 18

2:40 a.m. William Ratliff, 21, of Avoca, was arrested as a result of a traffic stop on Arkansas Highway 72. He was charged with several traffic violations and arrested on a felony warrant from Rogers Police.

2:43 p.m. Received a report of a dog struck by a vehicle at It’ll Do Road and Arkansas Highway 72. The dog was taken to the veterinarian and the owner of the dog (a resident of the county) was notified.

8:12 p.m. Police were requested to check a residence on Hayden Road about the welfare of a 2 1/2-year-old boy. Police contacted the residents and determined the child was OK.

Wednesday, Jan. 19

9:45 a.m. Received a report of dogs running loose on John W. Montgomery Circle.

The dogs were picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

12:30 a.m. Assisted adult protective services in making contact with a residenton Lee Town Road.

3:30 p.m. Were asked by Bentonville Police to check in town for a man wanted on a felony parole board warrant for absconding.

It was believed he was living at a residence on Luke Street in Pea Ridge. Police located and arrested Travis Dootson, 35, Bentonville.

Thursday, Jan. 20

5:38 a.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School gym. The building was checked and found to be secure.

Monday, Jan. 24

6:30 p.m. A stray dog was reported near Autumn Place on Wade Lane. It was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

8:15 p.m. A resident on Weston Loop reported that people were taken items out of a neighbor’s garage. When the owner of the garage was contacted, he reported that items worth about $600 were missing, but he did not want to press charges.

Persons from northeast Benton County booked into the Benton County Jail this week include: Tuesday, Jan. 18

Gary Jeffrey Miller Jr., 19, Garfield, criminal mischief in the first degree, cruelty to animals, BCSO. He is in the Benton County Jail.

Jeremy Lynn Roberts, 18, Garfield, aggravated assault, criminal mischief in the first degree ($500 or more), BCSO.

Victor Hector Valdez, 51, Lowell, hindering apprehension or prosecution, booked by Pea Ridge Police.

Victor Junior Valdez, 21, Lowell, contributing to delinquency of a minor, residential burglary, theft by receiving, theft of property (value $2500 or more), booked by Pea Ridge Police. He was in the Benton County Jail Tuesday in lieu of a $15,000 bond.

Wednesday, Jan. 19

Travis Joseph Dootson, 35, Bentonville, parole violation, booked by Pea Ridge Police. He was in the Benton County Jail Tuesday with no bond set.

Chatwin Ernest, 30, Pea Ridge, endangering welfare of minor first degree, possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, booked by Rogers Police. He was in the Benton County Jail Tuesday in lieu of a $9,688 bond.

Jerry Dewayne Tygart Jr., 29, Rogers, fleeing on foot, harassing communications, revocation of suspended sentence and sexual indecency with a child, felony, by Pea Ridge Police. He was being held in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $23,000 bond.

Friday, Jan. 21

Silas Orian General, 29, Pea Ridge, for contempt, by Rogers Police.

Sunday, Jan. 23

Tiffanie Rose Jennings, 20, Garfield, for felony theft of property by Benton County Sheriff’s Office. She was being held in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
