Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Two warrants served:

◊1/12 Ronald Goff, 22, Bentonville, failure to appear; and

◊1/13 Preston Clark, 40, Pea Ridge, contempt failure to pay fines and costs.

Other incidents include: Tuesday, Jan. 11

2 p.m. Cynthia Rounds, 30, Pea Ridge, was arrested while at court, for contempt. She was transported to Benton County Jail.

5:30 p.m. A public service involving a person requesting items taken as evidence be returned.

5:30 p.m. Christal Grace, 33, Texas, contacted police requesting her driver’s license be returned. Upon investigation, it was discovered the license was suspended; it was not returned.

10:01 p.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School. Police spoke with two persons who claimed they worked for Dunk Alarm Company.The building was checked and found to be secure.The men said they were working on the alarm system and accidentally set it off.

Wednesday, Jan. 12

1:30 a.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Junior High School; a representative arrived and reset the alarm.

11:26 a.m. Received a report of a stray dog on Hayden Road. The dog was located and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

2:36 p.m. Requested by Benton County Sheriff’s Office to respond to a residence on Tommy Hawk Road in reference to a 48-yearold female, a possibly suicidal subject.When deputies arrived, police were relieved of duty.

3:51 p.m. Shoplifting reported at Fred’s.

Two juvenile males - one 16 and one 17 - were arrested and transported to the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

5:25 p.m. A possible disturbance was reported at Dollar General. It was discovered that a 21-year-old female was complaining that the driver of the vehicle beside her vehicle had struck her vehicle with the door. Both parties were interviewed and both agreed to exchange information. No other action was taken.

9:47 p.m. Received a report of a disturbance at a business on Weston Street. Upon arrival, spoke to both parties involved. The male agreed to leave for the night.

Thursday, Jan. 13

2:15 p.m. A welfare check on a resident on Blair Circle. Officers made contact with the residents and the complainant was notified that they were okay.

6:15 p.m. Asked to assist BCSO at a residence on West Pickens Street in locating a runway juvenile. Information was turned over to deputies.

5:31 p.m. Assisted Bentonville Police by checking with a resident on Carden Lane in reference to a gasoline drive-off in Bentonville. The man agreed to return to the business and pay the bill.

5 p.m. A man brought a light-colored Pit Bull dog to the police station saying he had found it on Sugar Creek Road. It was transported to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

6:30 p.m. The president of the Maple Glen subdivision reported that she had given the plat of the subdivision to an individual who was to work on the subdivision. She said the work was not completed and she wanted the plats returned. The individual said he had returned the plats to the previous president of the POA.

Friday, Jan. 14

4:20 a.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Junior High School. The building was checked and found to be secure.

11:05 a.m. Criminal mischief was reported at a residence on Hallack Lane. Several items were found which had been broken. The incident is under investigation.

2:45 p.m. Received of a German Shepherd running loose on West Slack and Hallack Lane.

Were unable to locate.

3:30 p.m. Were requested to assist Rollins Funeral Home with an escort through town for a funeral procession.

7 p.m. Received a report of a reckless driver on a four-wheeler on Sugar Creek Road. Upon arrival, located the four-wheeler which fled through the woods and police were unable to make contact with the driver.

Saturday, Jan. 15

2:39 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School. The building was checked and found to be secure.

1:30 p.m. An alarm at Collier Drug Store. A representative arrived and reset the alarm. The building was checked and found to be secure.

3:50 p.m. A pig was reported to be running loose on Park Circle. It was located running toward Hayden Road. Persons claiming to be the owners arrived and took possession of the pig.

4:13 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School. A representative was contacted but would not respond. The building was checked and found to be secure.

4:45 p.m. Responded with Pea Ridge firefighters to a grass fire on West Pickens Street.

It was discovered that a burn permit had been issued and it was a controlled burn.

7 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a verbal disturbance on Weston Loop. Officers were unable to locate anyone at the residence and were advised by neighbors that no one had been at that residence all day.

9:27 p.m. A resident on North Curtis Avenue reported he had lent his cell phone and vehicle to Melissa Lacy the night before and they had not been returned. She was contacted and reported that the vehicle had broken down and she had it towed. Police recovered the cell phone.

10:05 p.m. An agency assist with McDonald County, Mo., in attempting to locate an individual who had been involved in a disturbance in their county. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Sunday, Jan. 16

1:30 a.m. A traffic stop on Hayden Road resulted in the arrest of Sara Proctor, 27, Washburn, Mo., on a warrant from Rogers. She was transported to Rogers police.

9:52 p.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School. The building was checked and found to be secure.

Monday, Jan. 17

5:45 a.m. Saw a male subject walking and checked his welfare due to the hour of the day and the low temperatures. Discovered he was a 17-year-old male. He was transported home and officers spoke with his father. He was cited for curfew violation.

10:10 p.m. A noise complaint of dogs barking at Patton and Bowen streets. There were no dogs barking when officers investigated.

11:50 p.m. Were asked to check the welfare of a child at a residence on Hayden Road. After checking on the child, officers reported to the complainant that the child was okay.

2:40 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop on Arkansas Highway 72, arrested William Ratliff, 21, of Avoca, for a felony warrant out of Rogers.

He was also cited for four misdemeanor traffic violations.

Cynthia Gail Rounds, 30, Pea Ridge, contempt, booked by Pea Ridge Police.

She was being held in the Benton County Jail Tuesday morning.

Thursday, Jan. 13

Amber Dawn Cotton, 26, Pea Ridge, contempt, booked by BCSO.

Friday, Jan. 14

Bradley Allen Korbelik, 25, of Garfield, for failure to appear and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was being held Monday in lieu of two bonds - $2,790 and $2,500.

Tuesday, Jan. 18

William Anson Ratliff, 21, Little Flock, was arrested at 4:32 a.m. by Pea Ridge police for driving left of center, fictitious vehicle license, no driver’s license and no proof of insurance (first or second offense) as well as on a felony warrant from Rogers for theft of property.
