— THROWING MOTION STUDY: Baseball and softball catchers are needed for a research study by the University of Arkansas Sport Biomechanics Group for baseball and softball. HOOPIN’ IN THE HILLS: Team Arkansas will host the Hoopin’ In The Hills Tournament on May 6-8 in Fayetteville. The cost is $300 per team and the deadline is April 11 at that price and an additional $10 after April 11. Call Pat Jenkins at 435-3742 or e-mail [email protected].

LADY RAMPAGE: Registration for the Arkansas Rampage women’s full-contact football is now open for women 18 years or older. The Rampage will play their inaugural season in the Women’s Spring Football League (WSFL) beginning in April. Visit the WSFL at www.wsflwomen.com.

BENTON COUNTY BLUES: High school-aged boys wishing to learn and play rugby football may sign up online for the Benton County Blues by visiting usarugby.org and selecting membership. ARKANSAS GRYPHONS: The only men’s rugby team in Northwest Arkansas and the 2009-10 co-champions of the Heart of America Rugby Football League are looking for men 18 and older to join its club. No experience necessary. If you are looking for intense athletic competition similar to football and soccer, we will teach you one of the fastest growing sports in America. Practice is from 6-8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Holt Middle School in Fayetteville, with home games at Walker Park in Fayetteville.
