PEA RIDGE — Arkansas State Police investigated a one-vehicle accident at 8:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, on Arkansas Highway 72 near Jac’s Ranch which caused a power outage to Carroll Electric customers for about an hour. The vehicle, driven by Josh Marcotte, 18, of Pea Ridge, ran off the roadway and hit a power pole,snapping it in two and bringing down power lines.

Pea Ridge Ambulance responded, but did not transport.

Arkansas State Police said Marcotte was cited for driving without a driver’s license and failure to maintain control of the vehicle.
