BENTON COUNTY — PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT
Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include: Monday, Jan. 31
5:05 p.m. A 7-year-old child called 911 to report being left home alone at a residence on O.D. Bancroft Drive. The child’s mother arrived shortly after police arrived. She reported that her older daughter was supposed to have been baby-sitting and chose to leave. The child was fine and was left with the mother.
Wednesday, Feb. 2
7:30 p.m. A silver and red 21-speed bicycle was turned over to police. A resident from Kay Lyn Drive reported it had been left in his yard.
Thursday, Feb. 3
7 a.m. A resident on North Hayden Road advised that one of his ornamen tal lights on his driveway had been broken.
7 p.m. A stray dog was reported on Sims Lane. The dog, a small white dog with no tags, was picked up and taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
Friday, Feb. 4
11:10 a.m. Roy Corshia, 29, of Pea Ridge, was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license, as a result of a traffic stop on South Curtis Avenue at Carden Road.
6:25 p.m. The father of a 12-year-oldboy advised that while his son was at a friend’s house, a 12-year-old girl took his son’s cell phone and wouldn’t return it.
The incident is still under investigation.
6:44 p.m. An alarm call at Blackhawk Grill, Lee Town Road, no sign of entry, building was secure.
2:30 p.m. An alarm call, Pea Ridge Middle School, building secure, no representative.
2:35 p.m. Police were notified of a chocolate lab on N. Curtis Avenue. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
Saturday, Feb. 5
1:52 a.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge High School, building was secure, no representative.
6:14 p.m. A resident on Benton Drive reported a possible sexual assault of a 4-year-old female. During the course of the investigation, information was received which led to knowledge of a possible assault of a 7-year-old male. A 16-year-old male relative of the family was arrested on two counts of rape and booked into the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.
Sunday, Feb. 6
6 a.m. A street light was apparently hit and knocked over at the corner of Charles and Linder streets. The incident is under investigation.

Persons from northeast Benton County jailed this week include: Monday, Jan. 31
Billy Ray Hooten, 25, of Garfield, was arrested by Benton County Sheriff’s Office for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia/furtherance of felony drug violation. He was being held in the Benton County Jail Monday with no bond set.
Tuesday, Feb. 1
James Lynn Kirkland, 48, of Avoca, was arrested by Benton County Sheriff’s Office for domestic battering in the third degree and public intoxication - drinking in public.
Lisa Marie Lossing, 39, of Pea Ridge, was arrested by the Bentonville Police Department for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday, Feb. 4
Joshua John Lewis, 23, of Pea Ridge, was arrested by Rogers Police Department for contempt and driving while intoxicated - second offense.
Cody Robert-Lewis Moore, 18, of Garfield, was arrested by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office for manufacturing a controlled substance, narcotic or methamphetamine.
Monday, Feb. 7
Dena Jo Riley, 49, Tucks Chapel Road, Rogers, was arrested by BCSO for criminal accomplice, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in furtherance of felony drug violation.
