Valentine dance

SELIGMAN, Mo. - The Seligman Community will have a special Valentine’s Day dance at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, at the Seligman Community Building. The band is Borderline from Bentonville. Refreshmentswill be served and door prizes given away. Admission is $4 for adults. No smoking or alcohol is allowed.

NEBCO Chili cookoff

GARFIELD - The NEBCO Fire/EMS annual Chili cookoff fundraiser will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the NEBCO Community Center in Garfield. Sample all the various chili recipes then vote for your favorite as the “People’s Choice” winner.

Tickets for all the chili you can eat, including drink, are $6 for adults, $3 for kids 5-12, under 5 free. Desserts will also be available.
