John Robert Biddinger

John Robert Biddinger, 49, of Rogers, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born March 6, 1961, in Vinton, Iowa, the son of Martha Ann Karlson and Guy Richard Biddinger.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Thomas Biddinger; and his beloved companion, Leroy Biddinger.

He had lived in the northwest Arkansas area for his entire lifetime. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1979.

Survivors include his mother of Rogers; two sons, Ben Biddinger of the home, Jeremy Metcalf and his wife, Denita, of Rogers; three daughters, Haily Biddinger of the home, Savanah Spillman and her husband, Jimmy, of Pea Ridge, Sarah Woodie and her husband, Robert, of Huntsville; one sister, JudyRanalli and her husband, Norbert, of Tontitown; two nieces, Megan Merrick and Christie Zulpo; and one nephew, Nathan Ranalli;

and special friends, Kent Rylee, David Rowden, Mike Howerton and Lynn Keith.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date by the family.

All cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville.

Grant Monis Lancaster Jr.

Grant Monis Lancaster, Jr., 81, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Circle of Life Hospice, Legacy Village, in Bentonville. He wasborn July 2, 1929, in Greenville, Miss., to Grant Monis Lancaster and Ruth Guess Lancaster.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He worked all of his life in commercial construction.

He married Doris Doty on Dec. 6, 1957.

He was a member of New Life Fellowship church in Pea Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Lillian Allen; aunt, Mary Buckels, who helped raise him; a sister, Mary Sue Nichols; and a brother, Albert Freudenberg.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Doris Lancaster of Bella Vista;

sons, Grant Lancaster and David Lancaster and his wife, Amy, all of Rogers;

daughter, Kathy Vance of Rogers; two grandchildren, Kaylee Vance and Tyler Lancaster; brother,Edward Lancaster; and sister, Gloria Sorrells.

Visitation was Friday, Jan. 28, in Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.

A memorial service was held at Friday, Jan. 28, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice, Legacy, 900 Verdant, Bentonville, Ark., 72712.

Nona Edris Reed

Nona Edris Reed, 97, ofSeligman, Mo., died Thursday, Jan. 27, in Seligman. She was born July 16, 1913, in Garfield,to Charles Harrison Byler and Clara Ann Williamson Byler.

She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mose Reed; two brothers, Hubert Melton Byler and Benson Nathaniel Byler;

and three sisters, Della Patton, Bonnie Plott and Clara Oddstadd.

Survivors include two daughters, Lenore Mae Davis of Lancaster, Calif., and Roberta Maloney and her husband, Hugh “Cisco” Maloney, of Seligman, Mo.;

eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Saturday, Jan. 29, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 29, in the chapel.

Burial was in Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
