At their annual Christmas party Saturday, Dec. 3, Pea Ridge Volunteer Fire/ EMS Department members honored one of their own, Mike Yarberry, on his retirement. Others were awarded for service.

◊25 years - Mike Yarberry
Top Responder Award - Brandon Jones
Firefighter of the Year Award - Mike Yarberry, who retired after 25 years of service. He received a Recurve Bow and a retirement cake in the shape of an ambulance from the Fire Department.
The dinner, catered by Smokin Joes, included BBQ brisket and ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and assorted cobbler.
