Army National Guard Pvt. Adrean S. Hesington has graduated from the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Crewmember Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
The course is designed to train the crew member in launch operations of various missiles and ammunition in quick strikes during combat. The student was trained to perform maintenance in various launchers and re-supply vehicles and reload ammunition on these type vehicles.
Students were trainedto drive, operate, perform maintenance and ammunition re-loading of the M270 self-propelled loader launcher and the ammunition re-supply vehicle and trailer. They also learned to mount radio sets in vehicles, cables communication components in vehicle launcher, and operate and perform operator maintenance on communications equipment.
Hesington is the son of Rob C. and Wendy D.
Hesington of West Watie Street, Pea Ridge.
He graduated from a home school program in 2011.
