Lillian Flora Day

Lillian Flora Day, 82, of Centerton, died Friday, Aug. 26, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born June 10, 1929, at Farmington, to Floyd Lenard Harrelson and Elpha Marie Burris Harrelson.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Vaughn Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

three sisters, Carrie Stout, Glenda Fay Harrelson and Thelma Pinkerton; and one brother, John Henry Harrelson.

Survivors include her husband, George William Day of the home; one son, George Day Jr. of Centerton; five daughters, Brenda Green of Pineville, Mo., Connie Day, Debbie Monroe, Pamela Day and Becky Lockard, all of Centerton;

three brothers, Don Harrelson and Roy Harrelson, both of Siloam Springs, and Bobby Pinkerton of Oklahoma; three sisters, Juanita Ferguson of Florida, ShirleyFarmer of Siloam Springs and Ina Walters of Luther, Okla.; nine grandchildren;

and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were at 10 a.m.

Monday, Aug, 29, at Vaughn Presbyterian Church.

Burial was at Barron Cemetery in Vaughn under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

Misty Macy-Jeffs

Misty Macy-Jeffs, 33, died Aug. 23, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Mo. She was born on Nov.

17, 1977, to Marty Jeffs and Cindy (Hill) Rucker.

She was a member of NewSong Church in Centerton, volunteered at the Elm Tree Elementary School in Bentonville and was team mom for Disabled Children’s Little League Baseball Club.

She was preceded in death by her twin sons,Austyn and Dakotah, and her maternal grandmother, JoAnne Hill.

Survivors include her stepfather and mother, Preston and Cindy Rucker of Bentonville; son, Ernie Helt of Bentonville; brothers, Tenton and Amy Jeffs of Centerton, Josh Rucker of Garfield and Chancey and Jill Rucker of Pea Ridge; maternal grandfather, Earl Hill of Washington; paternal grandparents, Everett and Dixie Jeffs and family of Rogers; grandmother, Jackie Rucker of Bentonville; two nephews, Weston Rucker of Pea Ridge and Landon Jeff; and niece, Natalie Jeffs of Centerton.

Visitation was from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. prior to funeral service.

Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Mary Lou Rakes

Mary Lou Rakes, 83, died Sunday, Aug. 28, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born March 31, 1928, inPea Ridge, Ark., to Ernest and Jennie (Mitchell) Webb.

She spent most of her life in Texas.

Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother and a friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Mitchell Webb and Olen Webb, and a sister, Ora Wood, all of northwest Arkansas.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, W.

Richard Rakes; son, James M. Rakes and wife, Glenda;

daughter, Andrea Broker and husband, Mike; and grandchildren, Alyssa Willis and husband, Steven, Daniel Rakes, David Rakes, Michael Broker II and Jonathan Broker.

A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at University United Methodist Church with the Rev.

Will Rice officiating.

A private burial service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery prior to the memorial service.

The family specially thanks the doctors, nurses, technicians and other care takers who provided such loving care to Mary Lou.

Leona Frances Whited

Leona Frances Whited, 64, of Bentonville, died Friday, Aug. 26, at Circle of LifeHospice in Bentonville. She was born Sept. 23, 1946, at Decatur, Ill., to Dewey FranklinMathews and Rhoda Frances Warner Mathews.

She moved to the area 32 years ago to make her home.She retired as a shipping clerk from Wal-Mart Distribution No. 8098. She loved to read, shop and spent a lot of time at Helping Hands.

She was preceded in death by her father and her first husband, Michael Brust.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Whited of the home; her mother, Rhoda Mathews, of Decatur, Ill.; a son, Michael Brust, Jr. and wife Christy of Harrison, Ark.; a daughter, Cherrie Wheeless and husband Jay of Pea Ridge; two brothers, Dewey Mathews Jr. of New Hampshire and Dale Mathews of Decatur, Ill.; two sisters, Sharon Moran of Decatur, Ill., and Diana Hicks of Dunlap, Ill.;

four grandchildren, John and Jared Brust, Jay Wheeless and Kayla Lively; and one great-granddaughter, Kynslie Lively.

Cremation arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
