PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Two warrants served:

◊8/17 Amanda Blake, 25, Rogers, failure to appear; and

◊8/18 Michael Letney, 26, Pea Ridge, contempt failure to pay fines and costs.

Other incidents reported include: Monday, Aug. 15

4:34 p.m. An dog bite was reported by a resident on Frost Street who said her daughter was bitten on the hand while walking home from school. The investigation revealed that the dog accused of biting the girl was elderly, missing teeth and barely mobile. The report was believed to be unfounded, according to police.

5:30 p.m. A resident on W.M. B Franklin reported harassing communications.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

12:30 p.m. A trespasser was reported by a resident at Kings Lane apartments.

Police arrested Harold Fulton, 43, of Rogers, who was under a no contact order with the resident. He was arrested for criminal trespass and on a Rogers warrant.

12:30 p.m. A resident on Meszaros Court reported a dog had gotten through a fence and killed 13 of her 15 chickens.

Police cited the dog’s owner, Maria Molina, 46, of Pea Ridge, for dog at large.

7 p.m. A resident from Zachary Street reported the president of the POA from their neighborhood had sprayed weedkiller on their flowers and cut them down.

After an investigation, it was determined that the flowers were on the subdivision property.

8 p.m. The director of operations for Transplace, Lowell, reported an employee was cashing unauthorized checks in Pea Ridge.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

8:50 a.m. Requested by a Benton County Probation officer to check on a resident on W.M. B Franklin for probation violation. Police successfully made contact.

11:10 a.m. Street Department employees picked up two stray puppies on Greer Street and took them to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

5:15 p.m. Accident between a motorvehicle and a bicycle at McCulloch Street and North Curtis Avenue. James Brown, 16, of Pea Ridge, was reportedly riding his bicycle east on McCulloch and turned into the path of the south-bound 2004 Mitsubishi driven by Sherri Geidle, 54, of Rogers. Brown was treated on the scene by Pea Ridge ambulance personnel andtransferred to Bentonville Ambulance for transport to the hospital.

5:24 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School, employees were on site, the building was secure.

7:23 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Intermediate School, no representative was available, the building was secure.

8 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Primary School, employees were on site, the building was secure.

8:17 p.m. Alarm, at Pea Ridge Intermediate School, no representative was available, the building was secure.

Thursday, Aug. 18

10:01 p.m. Alarm, at Pea Ridge Intermediate School, school employees were on site, the building was secure.

Friday, Aug. 19

6:30 p.m. A possibly burglary in progress at a residence on Weston Loop. The investigation revealed that the new owners were inspecting the property.

8:30 p.m. A disturbance was reported by a resident on John Montgomery Circle by a mother who said she could not control her 13-year-old daughter who had not taken her medication.

8:32 p.m. While on patrol, discovered graffiti spray painted on the concession stand building at the football field.

10:45 p.m. Alarm, at Pea Ridge Intermediate School, school employees were on site, the building was secure.

Saturday, Aug. 20

6:30 p.m. While on routine patrol, saw a small light-colored dog on McNair Street near Hayden Road. Attempts to locate the owner were unsuccessful.The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

8 p.m. Suspicious circumstances were reported on Mary Phelps Drive of people going to door-to-door selling items. It was determined that the sales people did have a city business license.

9:31 p.m. A possible disturbance in progress was reported by a resident on West Pickens Street who complained that her 30-year-old son was possibly intoxicated and cursing. The two were separated by police.

Sunday, Aug. 21

3:03 p.m. A civil call involving possible harassment by residents on Pike Street.

A resident reported her neighbor against whom she had an order of protection was outside yelling at her. Police were unable to confirm the order of protection.

Monday, Aug. 22

5:45 a.m. Alarm, at Pea Ridge Intermediate School, school employees were on site, the building was secure.
