MILITARY PLANES ON EXHIBIT

— Million Air, the Fixed Base Operator at the Fayetteville Executive Airport, has partnered with the Navy, Air Force and Army to host the first Fayetteville Military Aircraft Exhibition series beginning in August. These public events will give aviation enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to see the impressive military aircraft used to protect our country and deployed in combat zones overseas.

The first exhibition, featuring active and retired Naval aircraft with interactive exhibits, will take placenoon-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 fon the Million Air tarmac at 4500 S. School Ave., Fayetteville. Attendees can come by and get up close to the aircraft while talking to the brave service men and women who fly them. Local food vendors, including Neon Ice and Hammontree’s Grillineum Falcon, will be on site with refreshments throughout the exhibition.

The Air Force exhibition will be held on Friday, Sept.

23, followed by the Army exhibition on Friday, Oct. 21.
