PEA RIDGE — Pea Ridge School District is currently accepting applications for substitutes.

Applications will be accepted at the superintendent’s office until Aug. 22.

All applicants must fill out a certified application whether or not they have certifications. Interviews will be set for Aug. 25.

Gifted and Talented meeting set

Each fall a meeting is held for the parents of SEEK students. SEEK is Pea Ridge’s gifted and talented program. This year’s introductory meeting will beheld at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 23 in the Intermediate School’s Media Center.

Any interested community member is welcome and encouraged to attend. The beginning part of the meeting will be an overview of the program and a welcome to parents of new students in the program. The latter part of the meeting will be a business meeting of SEEK, Inc., the parent organization supporting the program.
