Gary and Peggy Houpt of Avoca will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Garfield Community Building/ NEBCO. Gary Houpt and the former Peggy Mann, of Garfield, were married Sept. 2, 1961, at the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Garfield, with Horace Knox officiating.
The couple have two children Frankie Houpt of Springdale, and the late Michelle Rogers, who passed in 2006.
They have requested cards only or you can give a donation to the Northeast Benton County Fire and EMS (NEBCO).
