Story hour was successful

— The Thursday Story Hour for children is the hit of the library this summer.

The children just adore Ms. Heather and she does an outstanding job keeping them entertained with stories and a craft each week.

This past week they made hand puppets accompanied by much laughter. They all come in smiling and some of them give us hugs. You can’t help but have a good day after that.

Can it really be time for school to resume? It seems like only a few weeks ago the children were just beginning their vacation. The library has a list of school supplies needed by the elementary students for anyone who needs a copy.

The Library Board has received tentative plansfor the layout of the new facility and will be meeting Tuesday afternoon to review them.

I think you will all be pleased with what has been proposed.

Book donations are still coming in and we are so thankful. It is wonderful to be part of such a caring community.

Several of our library patrons and friends are having some health issues. We certainly hope they are on the mend and will soon be visiting the library.
