PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Two warrants served:

◊7/27 Shawn Husky, 6/82, Rogers, contempt failure to pay fines and costs;

and

◊8 p.m. Warrant MaryTaylor, 2/90, Rogers, contempt failure to pay fines and costs.

Other incidents include: Monday, July 25

7 a.m. Assisted Pea Ridge EMS at a residence on N. Ark. Hwy. 94.

9 a.m. Picked up a small gray Schnauzer running loose in the Standing Oaks subdivision; took it to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

9:15 a.m. Picked up two dogs running loose on Asboth Street; took them to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Wednesday, July 27

10:15 a.m. Residents on Van Dorn Street reported a possible scam in which they received what appeared to be a check they did not solicit.

12 p.m. Received a report of children left in a vehicle in the parking lot at Marvin’s IGA, but were unable to locate the described vehicle.

2:30 p.m. Assisted Bentonville police in checking for a person at a residence on Hayden Road wanted in a disturbance in Bentonville. Were unable to locate the person.

3:50 p.m. A resident on Asboth reported a possible fraud in which a person called them on the telephone promising money.

7 p.m. A rolling disturbance involving two vehicles. Police spoke to the driver of one of the vehicles who reported someone had hit their truck with their hands and was chasing them. Police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

7:45 p.m. Received a report of a possible fraud transferred from Rogers police in which it was reported that an elderly female in a nursing home in Rogers said her credit card was used in Pea Ridge. The report was determined to be unfounded.

9:25 p.m. A resident on Frost Street reported that a trash can was missingfrom the front of the house.

10 p.m. A noise complaint from an anonymous caller about noise at Kings Lane apartments. Police did not find a disturbance.

Thursday, July 28

1:08 a.m. Saw a white male walking along Hayden Road and stopped to check his welfare. Police discovered he was inebriated. Mason Womack, 18, of Rogers, was arrested for public intoxication.

8:11 a.m. Possible criminal mischief at Mike’s Auto Body, East Pickens Street, in which the rear door of the business appeared to have been tampered with.

3:40 p.m. Went to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic to issue a citation to Jana McCraine, 17, Pea Ridge, for dog at large when she went to claim her dog which had been picked up by police.

Friday, July 29

1 a.m. Alarm at Fred’s, a representative responded.

6:30 a.m. Alarm, Pea Ridge Middle School, talked to a school employee.

4:10 p.m. Alarm in gym, Pea Ridge Jr. High, no representative.

7:25 p.m. Found two loose dogs - a male white Pit Bull and a brown and white female Pit Bull mix. The dogs were taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Saturday, July 30

9:15 a.m. Harassment complaint from a resident on Greenwood Cove complaining that the ex-wife of the step-father was harassing.

10:30 a.m. Assisted Little Flock police with a disturbance at the apartments on Woods Lane.

11:01 a.m. Traffic stop on Weston Street resulted in the arrest of Edward Gray, 58, Pea Ridge, for DWI.

3:01 p.m. Alarm, Pea Ridge Middle School, contacted school official.

Sunday, July 31

8 a.m. A woman from a residence on Vineyard Street met police at a local business to report threats on her and her children’s lives by her husband.

11:45 a.m. A resident from D.J. Duvall reported a possible burglary claiming entry was gained through an unlockeddoor at the back of the house and that clothing was damaged.

1:20 p.m. A resident on Patterson Road reported that his 15-year-old daughter had snuck out of the house and put pillows in the bed to make it appear she was there. Upon her return the following morning, the resident said she told him of a party at a residence on Greenwood Cover with several young people - males ranging in age from 16 to 18 - with alcohol, drugs and synthetic drugs in use.

7:30 p.m. A resident on Todd Circle reported a disturbance. Both parties were talked to and agreed to reconcile.

7:57 p.m. A resident on Eagle Crest reported a disturbance. By the time police arrived, one of the participants had left the residence.

8:49 p.m. Received a report that possibly a male had been thrown from a white Camero in the area of Pickens and Greene streets. Police found a white male wearing jeans and no shirt in the area. Upon investigation, arrested the man, Sheldon Burkett, 21, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication.

Monday, Aug. 1

3 p.m. A resident of Jenks Court reported unauthorized use of his credit card by his girlfriend.

4:10 p.m. Agency assist for Rogers police in finding a silver Dodge pickup truck which had been involved in a hit and run earlier that day. It was located parked at Dollar General; Rogers police were notified.

5:37 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Intermediate School, North Davis Street.

The alarm company refused to release a contact name to CENCOM.

8:50 p.m. A verbal disturbance was reported at Kings Lane apartments. It was unfounded.

10 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School, no representative was available.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

2:10 a.m. Assisted Benton County Sheriff’s deputies with a report of an assault at Battlefield Produce Market,

U.S. Hwy. 62.

4:20 p.m. A traffic stop on Slack Street at Dollar General resulted in the arrest of Rebecci Stout, 44, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into the Benton County Jail.

6:40 p.m. Graffiti was reported on the rock wall entrance to Battlefield Estates subdivision.

6:50 p.m. A resident on Richard Street reported a Husqvarna riding lawn mower stolen.

10:50 p.m. Dispatched to a residence on North Davis Street, welfare check of 4-year-old male. Made contact, everything appeared fine.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

1 p.m. Received a report from Rogers police that a credit card stolen in their city had been used at businesses in Pea Ridge.The incident is under investigation.

5:20 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School, Weston Street. No representative was available.

6 p.m. Two stray dogs reported at a residence on Rains Street; they were taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

6:57 p.m. A stray dog reported at a residence on Linder Street; a white Pekingese was taken to the Pea RidgeVeterinary Clinic.

11:30 a.m. Theft from a resident of Charles Street advising that her cell phone had been stolen. She believed she knew who had it and the person refused to return it.

Friday, Aug. 5

11 a.m. Alarm call at Arvest Bank.

5:15 p.m. Alarm call at Pea Ridge Middle School,Weston Street. No representative was available.

Saturday, Aug. 6

8:17 a.m. Breaking and entering at a residence on Turner Way where resident advised that a storage shed in the back yard appeared to have been opened.

Some items appeared to be missing.

5:15 p.m. A traffic stop on Hayden Road near the City Park led to the arrest of Michael Sullivan, 52, Bentonville, on an outstanding warrant for Bentonville. He was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

9:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop on Weston Street, police arrested Kristen Roughton, 27, Pea Ridge, on an outstanding warrant from Rogers. She was charged with speeding and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

10:45 p.m. Motorist assist on Slack Street and Curtis Avenue and pushed a disabled vehicle out of the intersection.

Sunday, Aug. 7

9:50 a.m. Agency assist for Fayetteville Police Department in reference to checking the welfare of a 48-year-old male on North Curtis Avenue. After checking the residence, police were advised that the man is renting a room in Fayetteville. Information was forwarded to Fayetteville Police.

1:15 p.m. Criminal mischief reported by a resident on South Curtis Avenue involving a windshield being broken on a 1007 Dodge Caliber.

9 p.m. Parking lot accident at Pizza Hut involving Randy Hardin, 25, Bella Vista, who reported that an unknown white vehicle had backed into his 2007 Hyundai and damaged the rear bumper.

10:10 p.m. Received a report of .. swimming pool on Charles Street in Standing Oaks subdivision in reference to unauthorized people in the pool.

Police made contact with three juvenile girls - one 15-year-old and two 17-year-olds - and Christopher Pifer-Foster, 18, of Pea Ridge. All were given no trespassing warnings. A 15-year-old female was cited for curfew violation.

11:45 p.m. Assisted Pea Ridge Fire/EMS with possible overdose at a residence on Hayden Road.

Monday, Aug. 8

5:45 a.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School, coach and football team were on the premises practicing.

Persons from northeast Benton County booked into the Benton County Jail this week include: Tuesday, July 26

5:58 a.m. Billy Ray Hooten, 25, Garfield, by Bentonville Police for delivery of a controlled substance, driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked and improper use of evidences of registration. He was being held Sunday on a $25,000 bond.

Wednesday, July 27

7:40 p.m. George McCabe, 36, Garfield, BCSO for use or possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

9:13 p.m. Tyler Lee Easter, 18, Garfield, by Benton County Sheriff’s Office, for felony residential burglary and theft of property (obtained by threat of serious physical injury/destruction). He was in jail Sunday in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Friday, July 29

10:08 a.m. Deric Scott Etherton, 30, Pea Ridge, by Rogers police, theft by receiving and resisting arrest. He was being held on a $320 and $1,500 bonds respectively.

Saturday, July 30

3:22 a.m. Brandon C. Sizemore, 26, Pea Ridge, by Bentonville police for thirddegree battery, disorderly conduct, fleeing on foot, public intoxication and resisting arrest.

11:23 a.m. Michelle Leigh Anne Nettles, 19, of Rogers, by Little Flock Police for battery in the third degree, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

7:58 p.m. Emmily Sue Johnson, 21, of Seligman, by Rogers Police for contempt.

1:04 a.m. Edward Gray, 58, Pea Ridge, DWI, Pea Ridge police.

9:54 p.m. Sheldon Dean Burkett, 21, Pea Ridge, by Pea Ridge, public intoxication.

Monday, Aug. 1

4:06 p.m. Melvin Leon White, 41, Rogers, Little Flock police, for failure to appear.

9:24 p.m. Tyler Jess Thompson, 27, of Bentonville, was arrested by Pea Ridge Police for driving while intoxicated, driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked, parole violation, possession of controlled or counterfeit substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

9:45 p.m. Craig Dalwayne Fuller, 26, of Tucks Chapel Rd., Rogers, arrested by BCSO for assualt in the third degree, domestic battering in the third degree, fleeing (on foot), failure to register as a sex offender and parole violation.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

1:10 a.m. Nikki Marie Duhon, 29 of Garfield, arrested by BCSO for domestic battery in the third degree.

3:07 a.m. Franklin Eugene Beard, 40, of Garfield, arrested by BCSO for third degree assault on a family or household member.

10:59 a.m. Justin Casey Reines, 25, of Seligman, arrested by Bentonville Police, for contempt. He was being held Wednesday in lieu of $1,120 bond.

Friday, Aug. 5

2:14 p.m. Eric Eugene Royer, 35, Seligman, Mo., arrested by BCSO for residential burglary.

Monday, Aug. 8

12:36 p.m. Adam Craig Howard, 22, Pea Ridge, arrested by BCSO for battery in the second degree and domestic battering in the second degree.
