6, and ending at 11:59 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 7. State and local sales tax will not be collected during this 48-hour period on the sale of: Clothing and footwear if the sales price is less than $100 per item; Clothing accessories and equipment if the sales price is less than $50 per item; School supplies;

Substitute training
Pea Ridge School District is currently accepting applications for substitutes. Applications will be accepted at the superintendent’soffice until Aug. 22. All applicants must fill out a certified application whether they have certifications or not. Interviews will be set for Aug.25.
High school open house
Grades 9-10, 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, and grades 11-12, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9. Students will receive:
