— PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Police served two warrants:

◊April 21, Huey Kennedy, 47, Washburn, Mo., contempt failure to complete Ozark Guidance Center.

◊April 21, Kami Payton, 23, Rogers, failure to appear.

Other incidents include: Monday, April 18

7:12 p.m. Dispatched to the area of Greer Street in reference to a reckless driver in a white, older model Ford. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle and have added extra patrols there.

Tuesday, April 19

11 a.m. Dispatched to the area of McIntosh Street in reference to a loose dog that attacked another dog tied up with a cable. Police located the suspect dog and took it into custody.The dog’s owner, Mary Lushenko, was issued citations for dog at large and hazardous animal.

8 p.m. Police were flagged at the intersection of Richards and Charles Streets in reference to a dog found there. A male black and white Border Collie was taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Wednesday, April 20

11:30 a.m. Acting on information received, arrested Sherry Parker, 47, of Pea Ridge, on warrants out of Benton County.

1 p.m. Police took a report from an individual who said he lost his wallet somewhere in the city.

7:40 p.m. Dispatched to a disturbance at a residence on North Curtis Avenue.

Officers were advised the individual left the scene in a vehicle. Police stopped the vehicle at Castle Rental and advised the party in the vehicle not to return to the residence.

8:40 p.m. A caller on Weston Street advised her husband left the home intoxicated, likely heading to Missouri to purchase alcohol and marijuana. Police attempted to locate the vehicle, then contacted McDonald County Sheriff’s Office.

9:30 p.m. Answered an alarm call at Legacy Storage.

11:35 p.m. Police were advised the ambulance was dispatched to a residence on Humphrey Street for a possible overdose.

Police stood by until ambulance personnel took command of the scene.

Thursday, April 21

7:30 a.m. Dispatched to a report of a stray dog on Smith Street. A small, long hair, black and white mix was taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

3:45 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop behind Pea Ridge Middle School, police made contact with and arrested two 17-year-old males, both of Pea Ridge, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:55 p.m. Police responded to a two motor-vehicle accident at the intersection of Arkansas Highway 94 and Weston Street involving Ginger Cox, 27, of Pea Ridge, and Roger McDaniel, 65, of Garfield. No citations were issued and there were no injuries.

Friday, April 22

6:30 a.m. Dispatched with ambulance to residence on St. Clair Street. A 30-yearold female was complaining of head pain, transported by ambulance, officers cleared the scene.

8:30 a.m. Dispatched to residence on O.D. Bancroft in reference to dogs inside caller’s yard. Police made contact with the dogs’ owner, no citations were issued.

9:15 a.m. Spoke to resident on South Curtis Avenue who advised officers of a fraudulent phone call. The caller identified himself as being from the Federal Department of Investigations and a police officer out of Washington, D.C. The Pea Ridge Police Department believes this is a scam, the incident is still under investigation.

2:30 p.m. Dispatched to residence on Washburn Street in reference to a small white dog, appearing to be a Shih Tzu. Dog was taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

2:30 p.m. In reference to a dog complaint on Eagle Crest, dog’s owner was located and citation was issued.

4:10 p.m. Police were requested by Benton County Sheriff’s Office to assist in a disturbance on Lucas Lane. Upon arrival, officers located and detained suspect until deputies arrived.

5:53 p.m. Dispatched to Pea Ridge High School for an alarm call. Officer contacted cleaning staff, ruled alarm accidental and cleared the scene.

6 p.m. Dispatched to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. Police spoke with resident from E.

Pickens Road claiming two dogs attacked and killed his cat. Officer made contact with dogs’ owner, Andrea Dulin, 33, of Pea Ridge, and issued citation.

Saturday, April 23

7:40 a.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School. No representative present, police checked perimeter and cleared the scene.

7:42 a.m. Dispatched to residence on Smith Street for possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, spoke to homeowner who advised someone was attempting to enter through her front door. When she yelled she was calling the police, suspect fled.

Sunday, April 24

2:20 p.m. Dispatched to residence on Ash Court in reference to possible suicide.

Police located a 48-year -old male with an apparent gun shot wound who was transported by ambulance.
