Ozark Hill Hikers walk

HOLIDAY ISLAND - The Ozark Hill Hikers Walking Club plans a group walk on Wednesday, April 27, at Holiday Island. Registration is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Recreation Center, 13 Buckskin Lane. A 5k and a 10k are available. Walk directions will be provided at registration. Registration is free unless IVV credit is desired by AVA members.

Garden Club to host free seminar

BELLA VISTA - The Bella Vista Garden Club will host a free seminar from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 30, at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd.

Topics include native trees and shrubs, gardening the natural way, soil health, bed preparation, and new uses for old stuff. In addition, master gardeners will be available to answer questions.

Refreshments, handouts and attendance prizes will be provided.

Garden Club memberRick Gilbert will bring Rain Barrels by Laura-Lynn to the seminar.

Community Dance

SELIGMAN, Mo. - The Seligman community dance, sponsored by the Seligman Lions Club, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at the Seligman community center. Music will be provided by Frosty Garland and The Road Hogs.

Art on the Creek

BELLA VISTA - Part of the northwest Arkansas spring arts and crafts fair weekend, Art on the Creek in Bella Vista takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 6-7.
