Kindergarten registration will be at the Pea Ridge Primary School, April 26-29 and May 3-6, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m each day. Must be five years old on or before Aug.

Cheer try-outs set

Senior High Cheer/Mascot Tryouts, Thursday, April 14. To tryout, students should attend a student meeting 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, and a parent meeting, Wednesday,March 30, at the Middle School.

Benchmark begins

Benchmark week began Monday, April 11. The seventh-grade students will test Monday-Friday. The sixthand eighth-grade students will test Tuesday through Friday. Students who are at school everyday for testing and do their best work will be rewarded with a trip to a Naturals game in May. Students who score proficient or advanced in either math or literacy will go to Silver Dollar City when they return next school year.

John Brown University’s President’s List

SILOAM SPRINGS - Michael Forrest, of Pea Ridge, has been named to John Brown University’s President’s List of Distinguished Students, from the AdvanceDegree Completion Program. Forrest is a member of the northwest Arkansas cohort group, 70, working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management.

The Advance Program is a degree completion program that allows students to complete their Bachelor’s Degree by attending classes one night a week. Classes are designed for working adults, 23 years of age or older, who have at least two years of prior college creditand relevant work experience. Students progress through their studies as a group, taking courses in an established sequence.
