Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include: Monday, March 28

10:05 a.m. A stray dog reported on S Curtis Avenue; a curly-haired Schnauzer was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

3:45 p.m. Cited Allison Taylor, 30, Pea Ridge, for dog at large.

4:35 p.m. A theft from a vehicle was reported by a female employee of Sonic who said her wallet was missing from inside her unlocked vehicle.

Tuesday, March 29

12 a.m. A 911 call from a resident on Wade Lane was determined to be a medical need and family members were notified.

1:15 a.m. Assisted ambulance personnel with a resident on Chapman with a 70-year-old male.

4:15 p.m. White assisting Benton County Sheriff’s deputies at a disturbance in the area of It’ll Do Road, arrested Tony Millar on a warrant for contempt failure to pay fines and costs.

10:10 p.m. While checking the welfare of a male walking on N. Curtis Avenue near Watie, determined him to be under the influence and arrested William Scott, 30, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication/drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, March 30

1:05 a.m. Assisted Little Flock police at the Greens apartments with a 911 hang-up call.

5:26 p.m. Received a complaint from a resident on Smith Street of a harassing communications via text messaging.

3:30 p.m. A male came to the Police Department to report that his vehicle was struck on Weston Street in front of the Middle School and the subject left the scene. Police contacted the driver of the reported vehicle, a juvenile, contacted his parent, and advised them of the ramifications of leaving the scene an accident. No charges were filed.

Thursday, March 31

11 a.m. Katherine Garcia, GreerStreet, reported she found her house unlocked and about 200 DVDs missing.

12 p.m. Notified by employees of Collier Drug store of someone illegally attempting to gain narcotics.

Friday, April 1

9:08 a.m. Welfare check, discovered a 95-year-old female who was disoriented; contacted a relative.

5:30 p.m. Assisted Benton County Sheriff’s deputies with a physical disturbance at 14487 It’ll Do Road.

5:45 p.m. A burglary in progress was reported at a residence on Rains Street.

The residence appeared to be secure, the property owner was contacted.

7:38 p.m. A one-vehicle accident at EZ Mart.

9:19 p.m. A resident on Wade Lane reported prescriptions and other items were missing after having company.

Saturday, April 2

11:50 a.m. A disturbance in progress at a residence on Gen. Franz Siegel, involving the parent of an 8-year-old who apparently had a disagreement with a male neighbor who yelled at her daughter. Both parties were advised to leave each other alone.

3 p.m. While on a traffic stop, arrested a passenger, Coy Haddock, 24, Rogers, on an outstanding Rogers warrant.

3:03 p.m. Advised of a possibly towing business operating out of a residence on Drew Lane.

10:35 p.m. As the result of a traffic stop on Arkansas Hwy. 72/Lee Town Road, arrested George McCabe, 37, Garfield, for DWI.

Sunday, April 3

12:30 p.m. Shots fired in a field off Mary Phelps Drive. It was determined the field was not in the city limits.

5:30 p.m. Cited a 15-year-old juvenile into Benton County Juvenile Court for possession of drug paraphernalia as the result of a traffic stop on Hayden Road.

8 p.m. Harassing communications reported by a resident on Hayden Road.

Both parties were advised to not contact one another.
