Beta Alpha elects officers

— The Pea Ridge Beta Alpha chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha plan to install new chapter officers Tuesday, April 5, followed by a celebration dinner at the Gold Corral in Rogers.

Officers for 2011 are: Karen Kitterman, president; Sandi Fletcher, vice president;

Laura Fletcher, treasurer;

and Kathy Truesdale, secretary.

The local chapter welcomed six new members in October 2010.

The Pea Ridge Beta Alpha Chapter of ESA has worked hand in hand with the community and nearly 1,000 local chapters in the U.S. to raise $10 million in cash and pledges annually.

Since 1972 ESA has raised more than $120 million in cash and pledges for St.

Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The Pea Ridge Beta Alpha chapter looks forward to raising record donations for St. Jude, as well as for the local community in 2011.

Other projects sponsored by Beta Alpha include:

◊7 a.m. April 2, Pea Ridge Beta Alpha road beautification & clean up project;

◊6 p.m. April 4, Beta Alpha April meeting, First Baptist Church Pea Ridge;

◊6 p.m. April 5, officer installation and celebration dinner, Golden Corral, Rogers; and

◊10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, Community Easter egg hunt, sponsored by Pea Ridge Beta Alpha, Pea Ridge City Park.
