Linda Gates Green

Linda Gates Green, 57, of Garfield, died Friday, Sept. 24, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Ann Arbor, Mich., to Arthur and Betty (Baker) Gates.

Green was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Paulette Doss.

Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years Ronnie Green, of the home; two sons, Morris Leroy Gates of Fayetteville N.C., and Donald Wayne Green and his fiancé, Jackie Riner, of Garfield; one daughter, Donna Sue Ashley and her fiancé, Matthew Messer, of Garfield;

one brother, Paul Gates and his wife, Dorothy, of Fayetteville, N.C.; three sisters, Mary Plennert and her husband, John, ofSouth Lyon, Mich., Cheryl Vasquez of Fayetteville, N.C., and Joyce Verdugo and her husband, Charlie, of Fulton, Mo.; one brother-in-law, Ronald Doss; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers.

Services are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Charles R. Robbins

Charles R. Robbins, 78, of Pea Ridge, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 in Bentonville. He was born Aug. 19, 1932, in Eureka Springs, Ark., to Wilbur J. and Lucille J. Pierce Robbins.

He was a veteran of the U.S.

Navy having served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of the Bella Vista American Legion Post 341.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Robbins; and a sister, Mary Ella Jennings.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Robbins of Pea Ridge; two sons Billy and his wife, Debbie, and Robby Robbins and his wife, Patty, all of Pea Ridge; nine grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday,Sept. 29, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m.

Thursday, Sept. 30, at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3291 S. Thompson St., # D104, Springdale, AR 72764-7357 or to the Circle of Life Hospice - Legacy Village, 900 NE Verdant, Bentonville, AR 72712.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

Brenda Sue Schooley

Brenda Sue Schooley, 50, of Seligman, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 22, at her home. She was born Nov. 25, 1959, in Rogers to Eugene Henson and Susie Reed Henson.

She was employed at Wal-Mart Warehouse 6094. She enjoyed camping and fishing,riding four wheelers, being with her grandchildren and visiting with friends.

She attended Twelve Corners Baptist Church.

Schooley was preceded in death by her father and one nephew, Matt Henson.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Schooley of the home; two sons, Vernon Leach and his wife, Charity, and Jerid Leach and his wife, Lindsay, all of Garfield; a daughter, Angela Leach of Seligman; two stepsons, John Schooley of Bentonville and Zac Schooley of Pea Ridge; three brothers, Gary Henson and his wife, Lisa, of Bentonville, Billy Henson and his wife, Vickie, and David Henson and his wife, Toni, all of Pea Ridge; one sister, Donna DeWitt of Pea Ridge; four grandchildren, Vernon Leach Jr., Myka Leach, Braelie Bray and Blaklie Leach.

Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge.

Funeral was at 10 a.m.

Monday, Sept. 27, at Twelve Corners Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rick Booyer officiating.

Burial was at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
