VFW Post 8109 would like to extend a thank you and well done to the following sponsors for their support in our recent golf tournament: Community First Bank, Arvest Bank, Colliers, Basil’s, Golden Corral, Dixie Cafe, Staples and the many others who donated prizes.

A special thank you goes to Gina Stephens, John Brown, Justin Bradford, Cassi Lapp and Big Sugar Golf Course for their help in making the tournament a success.

Recycling bins donated

About a month ago, I made contact with a few people about where or how I could get some recycling units for the recycling program to be expanded.

I spoke to Rick Webb about this, and Rick told me to give him a couple of days to see what he could find out. After I spoke to Rick Webb, the school received 22 plastic bins with wheels and handles (very nice). We also received 40 classroom size cardboard units which were donated by Dymark Supply in Rogers. There was no cost to the school of any of this. I would like to thank Rick Webb and Dymark Supply for the kindness and effort they made to get this for the school. Thank you.
