The devotions, given by Jean Landauer, were from a book of poems by Helen Steiner Rice entitled “Someone Cares.” The poem was “In Times Like These” which stressed that in difficult times when one feels helpless, knowing that God is in control is very comforting. The prayer “God Bless Our Native Land” was sung. Eula Anderson will give the devotions next month. If she is unable to attend, Betty Phillips will do the honors.

Roll call was answered by nine members, telling their favorite crock pot dish. Lea Ann Schalk had two favorites!

Right now, the consensus is that we not have a booth next year.

After coffee break, a list of 25 uses for coffee filters was shared. Also, 13 uses for cucumbers were read. Consult any member for some of the uses.
