Sharon Tate mixed, rolled and cut out more than 33 dozen biscuits to serve the nearly 300 people served breakfast Monday at the annual Labor Day country breakfast at the Northeast Benton County Volunteer Fire Department community room.

In its 10th year, the breakfast was held at Lost Bridge for the first eight years and provided funds for Volunteer Ambulance Service, now operated by NEBCO Fire/EMS.

“It’s an extremely fantastic success,” Fire Chief Rob Taylor said, praising the community’s support of the service. Jim Townsend, Continental Mills and members of both NEBCO and VAS contributed to the breakfast.
