Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:
Three warrants served:
◊8/24 Robert Sorrel, 27, Pea Ridge, failure to appear;
◊8/25 Noe Juarez-Carranza, 19, Rogers, contempt failure to pay fines and costs; and
◊8/26 Kevin West, 42, Pea Ridge, failure to appear.
Other incidents include: Wednesday, Aug. 25
8:15 a.m. A traffic stop at E. Pickens Road and Bussey Lane resulted in the arrest of the driver Thomas Ayers, 46, Rogers, on outstanding felony warrants from McDonald County, Mo., and for possession of controlled substance. He was taken to the Benton County Jail.
Thursday, Aug. 26
7:40 a.m. A two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Pea Ridge High School between Sheyenne Keller, 16, Pea Ridge, and Kristi Morgan, 41, Pea Ridge. Keller was cited for careless driving.
12:59 p.m. After receiving a call of a possibly intoxicated person at Northwest Medical Center physician’s office, arrested Nik Deal, 33, Bella Vista, for public intoxication.
3:31 p.m. A traffic stop at E. PickensRoad and Klauss Lane resulted in the citation of Tyler Jackson, 16, of Garfield, for speeding, no driver’s license, no insurance, no seat belt and failure to register the vehicle. According to police, his mother, Latonia Jackson, 39, declined to pick him up because of possible outstanding warrants issued for her from Rogers Police Department and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. He was released to the custody of a family friend. Friday, Aug. 27
4 p.m.Two-vehicle accident at Curtis Avenue and Slack Street involving Kelly Stevenson, 24, Pea Ridge, and Clara Seagroves, 69, Pea Ridge.
Sunday, Aug. 29
1:49 a.m. Responded to disturbance no longer in progress at an apartment on Wade Lane. Spoke toVanessa Corshia, 28, who reported her husband has been physical altercation with her and left.The ambulance was called to check Mrs. Corshia for injuries. About 8:25 p.m.Mr. Roy Corshia, 28, was located and served warrants for contempt failure to complete public service. Information on the altercation was sent to the prosecuting attorney.
4:27 p.m. Responded to a residence on Daniel lane for a disturbance.
