PEA RIDGE — The Pea Ridge junior and senior cross country teams medaled in the District 4A Cross Country Invitational held Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Shiloh Christian in Springdale.
The junior girls team placed second overall. Runner Anna Morgan came in first in the two-mile, with a time of 14:00, Rilee Patrick followed in second with a time of 14:09 and Mikheala Cochran took fourth place with a time of 15:01. Seventh grade runner Tina Cotton came in 11th and eighth grader Gloria Vargas crossed the finish in 16th place.
Junior boys runner Justin Stamps got third place in the two-mile with a time of 12:59, with Shane Ivy coming in eighth with a time of 13:16.
The senior boys team also placed second overall.
Sophomore runner Evan Tillman came in fourth with a 5K time of 18:34 and senior runner Colton Holtgrewe received sixth place with his time of 18:53.
Senior runner Kimberly Cribbs earned the 5K fifth place title with her time of 23:16.
