Mayor election is Tuesday

— Four men are vying for the seat of mayor of Pea Ridge. The election is Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Polls open at 7:30 a.m. in the community room of the Emergency Services Building.

Candidates are incumbent Mayor Jackie Crabtree, Boyd McNiel, Col. F. Joe Hart and Rick Webb.

Crabtree, 56, is a 1972 graduate of Bentonville High School and is retired from Wal-Mart Information Systems.

Hart, 89, is a graduate of Foreman High School, Chicago, Ill., he is retired from the U.S. Air Force and Lockheed Martin.

McNiel, 47, attended Cassville,Mo., High School, where he finished the 11th grade and then entered theU.S. Navy. He works at Pre-Form Lines.

Webb, 53, is a 1975 graduate of Pea Ridge High School. He works at Fayetteville Auto Park as a sales consultant.

Neither City Council position is contested.

Benton County Polling Locations

Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 2.

The following are precincts and polling locations for the primary elections in Benton County. Voters may be asked for photo identification at the polls.

Voters unsure of their precinct should call the Benton County Clerk’s office at 271-1013.

Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

◊LBV Community Building, Lost Bridge, 12477 Lodge Drive, Garfield

◊Town Hall, 222 N. Old Wire Road, Avoca
