P is for pancake

— The students in Mrs. Janet Spradling’s kindergarten class recently celebrated learning about the letter/sound “P” by eating pancakes. They enjoyed drawing the letter “P” on their pancake with syrup before eating them.

The students listened to the stories “If You Give A Pig A Pancake” by Larua Numeroff and “Pancakes!!

Pancakes!” by Eric Carle while Ms. Betty Burress, kindergarten instructional aide, and Mrs. Dara Gregory, parent volunteer, prepared the pancakes for the students to eat.

Enjoying their pancakes were, from left Max Scholtes, Jordan Spicer, Erika Oxford and Sarah Messer.
