PEA RIDGE — A Scholastic Book Fair is being held in the library at Pea Ridge Intermediate School downtown Wednesday, Oct. 11, through Wednesday, Oct. 20, according to school librarian Dede Brock.

The book fair will open at 8:30 a.m. daily and last until 4 p.m. On the night of school parent/teacher conferences, Tuesday, Oct. 19, the book fair will stay open until 6 p.m.

“This will be a family event from noon to 6 p.m.

Tuesday with refreshments and door prizes provided,” Brock said. Friday will be a “bring your grand to lunch” day, Brock said, asking that parents and grandparents join their children for a pizza lunch.

“There will be something for everyone - educational products, pre-school and adult literature,” Brock said, adding that parents could do their Christmas shopping at the book sale.
