James Bill Arnold

James Bill Arnold (Billy Joe), 29, of Green Forest died Wednesday, Sept. 29.

He was born April 7, 1981.

Survivors include his wife, Julie, and three children, Alexis, Blake and James Arnold of Green For est; his parents, Frank and Linda Lloyd of Cassville, Mo., Robert and Elizabeth Leach of Pineville, Mo.;

four sisters, Maria Crowe of Seligman, Kimberly Grigg of Berryville, Amber Rucker and Katria Lloyd, both of Springfield, Mo.;

and two brothers, Jacob Arnold of Keni, Alaska, and Timothy Lloyd of Ridgley, Mo.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Rogers Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home (downtown) Rogers.

Alice Sue Goates

Alice Sue Goates, 67, of Gravette, died Saturday, Oct. 2, at Circle of Life Hos pice, Springdale. She was born April 18, 1943, in Ozark to Melvin W. Stacy and Dorothey Bowman Stacy.

Goates was a machine operator with Kennametal Inc. She married Ulysses Goates on Dec. 8, 1961. She was a member of the Shepherd’s Chapel in Gravette.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses, and four brothers, Garry Stacy, Curtis Stacy, Jimmy Stacy and Robert Stacy.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Stidham and her husband, Terry, of Gravette, Tina Edwards and her husband, Keith, of Decatur; four brothers, Ricky Stacy and Darrell Stacy of Decatur, Randy Stacy of Fayetteville and Eric Stacy of Pea Ridge;

two sisters, Linda Denny of Colcord, Okla., and Janice Goates of Decatur;

four grandchildren, Brandi Rudder, Kristen Campbell, Kevin Edwards and Joshua Stidham; and three greatgrandchildren, Hunter Rudder, Temira Campbell and Dylan Campbell.

Public viewing was from 2 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Oct. 4 at Mt. Pleas ant Cemetery, near Gravette, with Rodney Gruver officiating.

Burial followed.
