Avoca Christian Church The church will celebrate its 100th year anniversary Oct. 10. There will be a re-dedication ceremony at 11 a.m., followed by a lunch hosted by the church in the community building adjacent to the church at 209 Main St. There will be games and activities for all ages, door prizes, a hay ride, music and more. Everyone is invited.

First Baptist Church,

Pea Ridge Christian illusionist Randall Eller is scheduled to perform at the church at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Admission is free, there will be a candy give away and pictures in costumes.

First Baptist Church,

Garfield Radically Restored Rods and Mods will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. There will be free kids activities, goody bags and door prizes. Barbecue, burgers, hot dogs and drinks will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live music by Jericho Down and other bands will begin at noon. The Community Blood Center mobile unit will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Pea Ridge Free Will Baptist The third lesson in the new convert’s class will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7.

The Men’s Prayer Breakfast meeting will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, with Bro. Terry Sullivan as the guest speaker. All men, young and older, are invited to attend for prayer, food, fellowship and spiritual encouragement.

Westside Baptist Church, Pea Ridge

AWANA meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each Sunday night. The program is for ages 3 years and older with monthly activities planned. Registration can be completed upon arrival. For more information, contact John Garrett at 696-9209.
