PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Tuesday, Sept. 28

7:50 p.m. A resident of Coler Street reported a criminal mischief in which someone set fire to contents of a trash can which was sitting on their front porch.

Wednesday, Sept. 29

1:02 p.m. A physical disturbance was reported by a resident on Rains Street saying a male and female were arguing over the title to a vehicle. No arrests were made.

3:30 p.m. Eric Moran, 38, Springdale, was arrested on driving on a suspended driver’s license, suspended for DWI, and transported to the Benton County Jail after a traffic stop on East Pickens Street.

Thursday, Sept. 30

10:37 a.m. Police were requested to assist employees of the Water Department in reference to an odor believed to be gasoline or a petroleum product coming from the water meter can of a residence on White Lane.The incident is under investigation.

Friday, Oct. 1

8:15 a.m. David Henson, 38, Garfield, was arrested for driving on a suspended drliver’s license, suspended for DWI, and transported to Benton County Jail, as the result of a traffic stop on East Pickens Street.

10:46 a.m. Matthew Snider, 19, Pea Ridge, was arrested after a traffic stop on Charles Street for driving on a suspended driver’s license, reckless driving and on a warrant from Little Flock Police. He was transported to the Benton County Jail.

3:20 p.m. Received a report at City Hall from Cindy Putzier, 50, Pea Ridge. of a hit and run accident in which a red pickup truck struck a black Mazda MX5 at the four-way stop of Pickens and Curtis Avenue.

4 p.m. Received a wallet which had been found and determined that the wallet belonged to a person who had outstanding warrants from Pea Ridge and Benton County. Police contacted the wallet’s owner, who said she would pick up the wallet and take care of the warrants.

Monday, Oct. 4

1:30 a.m. Received a report of a disturbance on Halleck Lane. Upon arrival, discovered two persons and a 6-weekold baby standing outside of a vehicle.

Police arrested Bobbie Rebecca Reed, 24, Springdale, for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and endangering the welfare ofa minor, and Steven Reed, 27, Bella Vista, for public intoxication and parole violation.The baby was placed in the care of relatives.

Monday, Sept. 27

David Wilton Ford, 30, Garfield, was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance.

Thursday, Sept. 29

Amy Shereen Fabrizio, 37, Pea Ridge, was arrested for contempt. She was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Brandon Chase Sizemore, 25, Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with a child custody case. He was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Friday, Sept. 30

Perry Gabriel Mohammed, 25, Pea Ridge, was arrested for felony failure to appear, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of firearms by certain persons and trafficking in Oxycodone. All warrants are out of Florida. Mohammed was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail awaiting transfer to Florida.

Gegatie Dale Mather, 51, Pea Ridge, was arrested on a body attachment warrant.

Monday, Oct. 4

Jose Luis Andrade, 25, Garfield, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Michael Hanna, 34, Bentonville, was cited for failure to yield after the car he was driving collided with a pickup truck driven by Mark Ellzey, Rogers, on U.S. Highway 62 Saturday.

Hanna was southbound on Gann Ridge Road when he entered Hwy. 62. The BMW Hanna was driving burstinto flames, according to Candace Plunkett, 22, of Garfield, who was eastbound when she saw the collission. Debris from the pickup truck struck Plunkett’s vehicle, breaking the windshield and damaging the driver’s door.

“The car didn’t stop and hit thetruck,” Plunkett said.“I knew there was going to be a wreck. I just closed my eyes. I was in shock.”

No one was injured. Emergency personnel from Northeast Benton County Fire/EMS, Benton County Sheriff’s deputies and state police worked the accident.
